I’m playing this now in band and I actually almost cried and when said we were gonna play another piece(she said part not piece.) and then we kept playing it and after I was literally SHAKING cause of how much I love this song
I- I don't know how I didn't recognize it at first, but I _know_ I played this in band some years ago. This brings back a lot of nostalgia for me. Thank you.
I am playing this song for band right now and it looks so complex I'm so confuzzled. I'm playing mallet percussion and my ears are going to be ringing all month long😂
Omg I am playing this for the Tom-Tom, triangle, and sus. Cymbal and it is a timing mess for me, our class (g7) is both fast and slow at the same time some how. I try to use sound cues but somehow they allways change. I feel like med. Tom-Tom is one of the harder ones personally but that’s just me. There is also sus. Cym. Roll but that is not too bad. And also the English class (I am g7 French emmersion) has a really bad percussion team, but we are also kinda bad. Well now this is going to be a rant of the English kids, so they barely know how to play on anything other than snare drum, our team of three percussionist for French g7 mostly does the harder/more work than them, one time they could not play in a piece for a school performance because they never did it because they were never there when they were doing the song, so us 3 were the only people who knew the songs we were playing. That was quite pathetic
Why did michael sweeny have to go hard for thr first two then for the last 4 he jsut jeot writing celtic air and dances to keep the series going without much value
