I'm a Rangers fan of 36 years , my uncle who's a celt took me down the barras as a 15 year old boy to bairds bar many times !! where I had the the honour and privilege of standing close and seeing this legend of a player in real life , sometimes you have to pinch yourself and realise how lucky you are .
I'm from Swansea and started following Celtic in 1970 when I was 15 purely because of the kit and more importantly because of Jinky. Went to my first Celtic game from Swansea on 28/4/1973. 8 in a row. Jinky was brilliant. Whatca player he was.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost the login password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Korbyn Micah thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
As a wee boy I used to go to paradise with my da and I always found my way down to the front , Just so I could tell my pals at school that I had been close to Jinky, Probably one of the best footballers the world has ever seen
Along with Larsson he's the best Celtic player I've seen. I attended his joint testimonial with Bobby Lennox against their English friends at that time, Manchester United. RIP Jimmy from this Man United supporter!!!
The , the greatest Scottish winger bar none, put him down he'll get back up and do you twice, a talented inspirational genius. We will never see your like again. JJ RIP.
Our younger supporters remember Henrik & rightly so but the number 7 belongs to this little genius he could make the biggest look stupid & the smallest stand tall I will never forget the European Cup semi-final 1st leg tie against the animals of athletco Madrid when the tried halfing him in 2 he got up dusted himself down & went at them again & again he must be 1 of few away players to get a standing ovation from 120,000 supporters in a away game in Di Stefanos testimonial game a cpl of weeks after we won. the European Cup What a player just what a player RIP Jinky greatest ever celt
It’s easy for a lifelong Celtic Supporter to wax lyrical about Jinky but when a man like Alex Ferguson had that much respect for him and him being both an Ex Rangers man and having achieved what he has signing the players he has you must have been something special. Gone but not forgotten. God bless Jinky 🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼
Mcgrory, tully, larsson, jinky and dalgleish. Best 5 celtic players ever. Only one lisbon lion suprisingly, which shows how consistently good our club has been since day one. Maybe tierney could join the list in ten years time. 🍀💚🇮🇪⚽️🏆
St Anne's from Hamilton v St Columba's Viewpark in the Shinwell cup, my Dad and his pals used to joke that forty years later they were still dizzy trying to stop the wee man
Matey you have absolutely no knowledge of football, or how good this guy was, a complete genius, a very sad loss to world football. Matey hold your head in shame, another who dose not have a clue about this wonderful game…….
