Iconic player. Absolutely World Class level striker. The fact it was Barcelona that came in for him says everything about his level in the game. Total player. Team player, high workrate, immaculate first touch, good with his back to goal linking the play. Could dribble on both sides and shoot with both feet. Good in the air, great leap. Lethal, creative finisher. Surely played in a lower level league for a chunk of his career, but was class for Sweden, Barca and Man Utd when he went there. Had a horrific leg break mid career and came back just as good, if not better with maturity and experience.

252 goals in 314 games. G+A per game of 1.36, over his 7 years at Celtic. Mad stats. We were a real threat in Europe at that time. Beat the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax and Lyon. Doubt I'll see his likes again in a Celtic shirt.

Larsson was the King of Kings Hail hail 🙌🏼 Little note while playing for Barcelona he scored against Celtic , and he didn’t celebrate his goal

That last goal , touch into the ground then the left foot finish is one of my favourite goals as a Celtic fan. Larsson was my hero growing up, we’ll never have another Henrik! Great times as a Celtic Fan. You should watch A Lubo Moravcik highlight! Another player who was technically outstanding, left and right foot were as great as each other. We got him at 33 years old, and he was ridiculous still. I’m sure Celtic paid 200k for him. What a player!

Was born in 84 and couldn't really remember celtic winning growing up.Then larsson among others came and things started changing very quickly, was the best I've ever seen celtic I think .HH

It'll be 20 years this year since he left us, when he announced he was leaving halfway through the season I hoped that he would change his mind. He may have gone on to win a Champions League then play for Manchester United but he will always be our King of Kings. The best I've ever seen play for Celtic, I'm too young for the Lisbon Lions.

celtic had been through the worst period of our life rangers had not long equaled or 9 in a row larsson changed all that and the team he played in was the best i have seen in my life as a celtic supporter
