I remember when I used to play in weather like that. Don't do that anymore. Too many good days to golf to put up with all that wet. And the recovery? Drying everything out is a massive pain! Kudos on you folks that actually play in this.

I use a 7 iron when I have a bit of distance off the green. Chip + Putt = Chutt… I birdied a hole yesterday with it. Wooooooo Hooooooooo!!!!

Do you remember the first day of the Ryder Cup. It was so similar.

I have played Celtic Manor over 30 times, last time was this weekend. Everytime without fail, the fairways were waterllogged and the ball plugged. Buggies were £50, small bottle of water £3.20 and a pint was £8.00. I hope to never play the course again.
