🚨 UPDATE credit to good friend of the channel @aboutceltic on Twitter/X: "𝙊𝙣 𝘿𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙠 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙠𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙪𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨… Turkish outlet @fotomac claim an offer of £7.6M has been accepted for the keeper. However… sorry to disappoint everyone, we’ve followed the paper trail & @fotomac’s source is @asmarcatr who also said we bid £5M for Kent." As I said in the video, seemed like nonsense. Looks proven to be so. Sorry lads...
A little bit of steam! 😂😂 I know it’s rumours but I just can’t get my head round why this is even being spoke about! It will never ever ever happen! 8 million and the guys on 60/70 k a week!!! It’s like people just forget who’s running our club and how they do buisness 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Tbh i can’t see us doing much in this window, would obviously love to be wrong but with this board i just don’t see us doing much, we won’t progress with this board imo
I don't agree better without him we need to progress our own youth and we have lawel and Kelly I believe r better if they are just given a chance instead of foreign players
They probably just want him to be sold asap to get the other keeper in, and he might have spoke to Jura about Celtic so I’m sure he told him how good it was at Celtic for him
@@Your-girl_Bonnie5 unfortunately this rumour has been debunked by a transfer expert who’s really trust worthy and he’s followed by Fabrizio Romano although Fabrizio has been wrong about Celtic transfer news a few times
@@GlasgowCelticforever1888 think that says more about your knowledge of football than it does about Dominik Livakovic. He was the captain of Dinamo Zagreb and an integral player of theirs for years, on top of being one of the first names for the Croatia National Team. He’s an outstanding option for Celtic.
Keep saying, this club WILL NOT buy until it sells. This is what they do . Croatian is just pie in the sky stuff. Had our fingers burnt there by barkas. The squad is far , far too big . No-one will be bought till this gets trimmed. Sorry but this is just a fact at our club
Does feel a bit like last summer when we were just "linked" with Livakovic to drive his price up and so that the SMSM could get some traction to their websites. If, though, this is true, and we really are close to announcing Livakovic then that would be an outstanding signing, but I'm trying not to get my heart broken again, so I'll have to believe it when I see it.
I read somewhere that alot teams be looking for frimpong for up to 60 million thats 18 million for us as we have a 30% sell on clause that be mint eh HH
David de Gea was/is a free agent, surely a lack of fee would open extra wages to offer. I'm presuming no1 will be paid more than the captain/stars that are already there. Team will never go forward this way. Still min the hoops, Lika would be a good signing, I think 💚🍀
Don't be ridiculous. He could have his pick of clubs who'll pay him a proper salary if he wanted it. He's got a superstar wife in Spain, there's no way he's going to sign for Celtic for 30k a week and move to Glasgow. Id he wanted to play football again, just imagine how far down the list Celtic would be for him.
I'm not disputing that, he was just an example, wages could be affordable but seems Celtic have thier limits. The structure of the wages was my point, someone akin to his situation, not unlike Joe Hart, the Celtic GK is a hard role to fill, if it were me I'd be taken Forster back while developing a younger future international. David de Gea's all around the world. Look at Butland across the road. Good signing. They are evrywhere. Celtic are stubborn and content. Shame for the fans really.
@@SemtexSteve33 trouble is you're stuck on offering 30k a week, if you give a newcomer 40, everyone else is going to want a rise. That somewhat limits who would sign. If I was a keeper, I'd rather sign for a club where I wasnt spending cold Wednesday evenings away in Dingwall or Dundee, wouldn't you? Rather go to Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium , Austria, Denmark than sign for a club in Scotland, wouldn't you of you weren't a fan of a club here? Scotland has become an increasingly difficult place to sell, so I think Celtic have to accept they're going to have to develop more than buy it in. Aberdeen and Dundee United have a history of doing this more successfully, for a fraction of the price.
@@SemtexSteve33 Thing is, you could do, but even the countries that are deemed "cold" like Denmark have far better summers and is much nicer than Glasgow, and you could play and live in Copenhagen and play for a club that does better in Champions League. For example, I would not be surprised to see Scott McKenna sign a deal with them over Celtic.
