I am knitting this scarf for myself. My first cable project and I'm doing wonderfully thanks to you! This is knitting up quite quickly! If I enjoy it and have enough time after I knit mine, I might knit one for my grandmother since she's been in the market for a new scarf! Thank you for making a wonderful tutorial

This is beautiful! How do you keep the bottom from flaring?
@jjjjjj1995
@jjjjjj1995 2 года назад
How can you move on to the following lines, if you always slip the 3rd stitch ( from the left and right side respectively)both on the right and wrong sides? You need to knit it either on the RS or WS

I love this and I’m trying to copy it, but the sound of the wood on wood scraping sets my teeth on edge. I hope it’s just me. Love your work. I guess I’ll have to get a PayPal and buy the recipe!

Fairly novice knitter here…I think you could knit several scarves and knit them together. Or, knit the scarf double or triple wide, then knit together. Perhaps do some seed stitch panels in between. If you knit an extra wide section, I suggest lifelines!

I just bought this pattern. Will it be shipped to my home or via pdf? Also will it include written instructions along with the chart? Beautiful pattern. I’m starting row 3 I think.

Helen Henry I use this pattern in the round on the sleeves for this Celtic Hoodie. You could adapt it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KuFcd7kpNJM.html

Helen Henry PS, The written instructions to this Celtic Scarf also contain a knitting chart. You can convert the wrong side rows very easily if you are used to following a chart. These can be purchased from my web site.

I don't understand Row 3, you say to go back and do Row 1, but when you get to Row 4 you are going against the grain where the purls and knits were. Thus ruining the rib pattern.
@kimaagesen1950
@kimaagesen1950 7 месяцев назад
Row 1 is wrong side of scarf. Row 2 right side Row 3 worked same as row 1 wrong side of scarf Row 4 The increase row is worked right side Of scarf. I found it helpful to write the instructions out, referencing the right and wrong sides worked. The next videos have some confusing language too. I've knitted two of these scarfs. They look beautiful.
