I have this vid saved as a Favorite, ive seen in many times but now i only come back to watch their expressions at the end of match 1. The young guy catching his breath and looking around if anyone saw him actually beat Daigo, and Daigo with a big smile (for Daigo) reminded of new blood in the scene of such old games he holds dear. I live a bit of that other guys shock and joy of beating Daigo even if once or twice
cheeseynz In Super Turbo different stages run at different speeds. Deejay's is one of the slower ones. I think Daigo mostly played on Cammy's stage at the arcade event, which is almost perfectly mid speed. Zangief, Dhalsim and Claw's stages are some of the fastest.
sabishiihito Can't say with confidence, but on the odd occasion I've played it, I don't remember noticing any speed differences. For what it's worth, USF2 seems to be based on HSF2 and that 100% doesn't have any differences in stage speed as I tested it myself with a capture card and video editing software to count the frames. Capcom didn't mention anything about changing the stage speeds in USF2, so it would make sense that the stage speeds were already fixed in the version USF2 is built on and just carried over, which I suspect to be HSF2.
coalcar jack have commit his life every day to fightcade and ssf2t daigo just play after all those years of retirement from ssf2t and got it.fucking beast
Daigo got beat and perfected by Jeff Shaffer like 9 time. Jeff was in retirement for 10+ years. Jeff Took 14 out of the 20 matches. Daigo is good but hes not on the level of the OG's and if played against prime tomo ohira daigo wouldn't have even won a game
He reminds of the guy who lived on the 2nd floor of my apartment from my junior year in college who I used to play cod zombies with. Remember that guy?
Jack plays with too much patterns....Daigo was able to read Jack's tendencies and would sometimes just pause a bit longer...then sweeps....then make Jack guesses while Jack just plays his tendencies to his doom. Daigo the master-in-game-adjuster!!!
