To me George has never went anywhere I still listen to him everyday and love to watch them they are great together. Old enough to be their mother but they can put a smile on my lips with their singing. Never stop playing these
I absolutely love the bagpipes. My Uncle Pat from the Naracoorte Pipe Band use to visit us in Adelaide S.A and he would play the pipes whilst Dad played the Banjo! We lived in a very small street so everyone had no choice but to listen We loved it. X000000X
This song makes me happy. I absolutely love this group of talented guys. The members may change, but they're always great to listen to. George is missed.
So grateful to have seen these gents twice, and that I got to see George live. His passion (all of the boys really) have spoken to my soul since I was 10
As much as you see irish acts doing this song you might think it’s an irish tune. NOPE it’s another American song that people think is irish. It was written by Steve Earl. He is the same guy that did “Copperhead Road” which is a sort of (American) country/ rock song. It’s about a guy that grew up in a moonshine family/ bootlegger and then when he came home Vietnam, he changed his product to marijuana.
Love from Australia. I would like to buy a Celtic Thunder CD, and would like the song " Bird with no wings" in it. Can someone kindly tell me which CD to get. Thank you kindly. 😊
You know, the times they are a-changin. Maybe you should adjust the words to say: "And I ask you friend, what's a fella to do, when her eyes are black, and her hair is BLUE". Just a thought.🤣
