Colin: trade fields for a 5th on day 1 of offseason! Bears: well maybe we just survey the market and see if can get at a least a 2nd if we talk to teams and gauge their- Colin: hah! too late wasted your time! Now he's worth only a 6th! Idiots!
The Celtics are gonna be just fine. They have the best injury luck to their best players. You seriously never see brown or tatum hurt these past couple years. They’re way over due for a title. They got only 1 in 40 years. And they’re young and always play super hard. Unlike other super teams. Celtics always give a lot of extra effort
Well, when it comes to the injury luck, Tatum literally got injured on the first play of last year's Game 7 of the ECF, also played through a wrist injury the whole playoffs the year before and Jaylen Brown missed the entire playoff the year before
@@zadafcbin the regular season they never have injuries to their three best players. The last couple years. It was only ever Robert williams as far as I remember. I think Tatum being healthy for the first 3 games to go down 0-3 don’t guarantee they win game 7 even if he was healthy. IMO
He’s probably talking about the matchup. I can’t imagine if Jordan, who was known partially as his airness for his dunks and layups around the rim, would settle for a jump shot on a guy he has a CLEAR size advantage and no center to protect the paint. Jordan wasn’t dumb. He would take the easy 2 torching the guy to the rim because he doesn’t have a chance and there’s no fear of getting pummeled by the center. The reason he had a great fadeaway is because when he played a matchup like that was very unlikely to occur. Usually it would be a center in the paint and a bigger guy on him hand checking. So he’d need to fade away to create space.
@@brandond2233 Moore had a career year in spite of Fields, not because of him. He set a career high in yards after catch but the lowest yards before catch of the last 5 years. Fields' numbers actually declined last year with Moore.
Honestly, waiting to unload Fields until after Kirk and Russ sign is a smart move. They won’t get anything right now with teams knowing the other qbs come without giving up draft capital. Once those guys sign somewhere else, teams who missed out will be more willing to shell out decent compensation to get Fields
@@MrDatsouthkid Also, Bagent started only 4 games. The 5th loss you are trying to apply to him, he came in midway through the 3rd quarter...and he still led the team to more points than Fields did.
I know this a month old now but foles and dalton was with him under nagy and a terrible oline. Technically dalton was the starter till his injury then after that bye week he was the starter again. You’re right they won 6 games but they wouldn’t have done much either. Justin wasn’t without faults but that organization was terrible and they scarified his years to become better is all i really want to say
No trade market at all? I'm surprised. I thought Chicago was waiting for a second round pick. Surprised he isn't worth at least a 4th. But... even if he is an OK QB, if I was a struggling team I wouldn't take an OK QB. Much better to roll the dice on a rookie. Most of those rookies won't work out, but at least you have a shot at greatness. You either win big and are in the playoff conversation, or you strike out hard and try again next year. The worst thing you can do is win some games but not enough to make the playoffs. Wait... you could be Carolina. That's even worse.
So let me get this straight, CC. The Bears are about to add a “generational talent” @ QB (your words, not mine) to a team that won 5 of its last seven games, have nearly $60M in cap space and, potentially, a top 5 defense and THEY’RE the biggest combine losers…‘k. 🤨
Cowherd is a clown but he’s spitting facts about JF Ppl make way too many excuses for him Burrow came in to the league w an awful Oline but showed right away he was the man I’m not saying Caleb is the answer but Fields definitely is not
I’m a big Justin Fields fan, but all teams have to do is watch a little bit of film and they’ll see that he has high end talent, but he is inconsistent in see the field, and making throws, particularly seeing it before a guy is open. On top of that if you trade for him, you will likely have to pick up his fifth year option. Everyone knows that the Chicago Bears are going to draft Caleb Williams, so no one is going to pay a premium for a guy that Chicago knows that they have to get rid of.
Yeah it's annoying to hear fans talk about 'flashes'. Like he was a 1st round pick, the bare minimum is to show 'flashes', that doesn't matter if you can't put it together in a consistent, meaningful way. Most anyone who ended up not working out had 'talent'
@@legitdragon6202 I agree, that’s why I explained flashes as a concept that’s not good enough, when he can’t piece it together. And I would imagine that talking about “flashes” is far more annoying when somebody is trying to make an argument to convince someone else that a player is worth trading for
@@jdb2722 what if the same changes happens with Fields. He goes to a more organized system that knows how to put him in the right position to grow and win. We’ll find out next season for sure
Completely disagree. Williams being as a good as he is helps Fields' market. The bears drafting CW doesn't mean they think Fields is bad, they get a once a decade talent while resetting the contract clock- no one is gonna blame them for that. They're not moving off Fields because they HAVE to, so it's not a simple "cutting ties" transaction. The bears are selling Fields' upside. It's not gonna bring them a 1st rounder but i don't think they expected it to
Of all QBs with at least 100 dropbacks, Fields ranks 7th in adjusted completion percentage under pressure. He also leads all of the top 20 QBs in percentage of plays resulting in pressure. The dudes O line is abysmal, and Caleb ain’t gonna do any better without more weapons and OL help. Who uses standard completion percentage?! Are you my father? It’s a very simple metric to adjust. I’m sure someone has access to PFF where you work Colin
@@jedi4049 anywhere fields go next he will win. yall so caught up on all these other over stacked teams. where is his superstar wide out tight end and rb..forgot this new league gotta have 60 dream teams and still loose to the chiefs. don't you know anything.
@@lorenzotheman1 if you don't think DJ Moore and Kmet are good enough to make a GOOD QB successful you Obviously don't know what your talking about. Please tell me one reason you think he is good? I want to understand why you think criticism of him is so outrageous is must just be hate? What a stupid thing to think. His numbers are trash. He looks terrible. Misses DJ Moore wide open all of the time. Running, fumbling, and getting sacked is the extent of his skill tree. What are you watching?
Considering the 2022 Bears only averaged 19 points a game, that would make you wrong. Going by the actual numbers, Fields had 17 passing TDs and 8 rushing in 15 games which is equivalent to 1.6666 TDs a game or 10 points.
TF wrong with this guy! Chicago wants a trade and 1st round pick for a player they are about to release, make that make since if he so good why are they about draft his same position, Chicago gonna be the ones to regret anything because he on your roster making first round money.
Justin Fields isn't going anywhere - the smokescreen is to improve offers for the #1 pick. On the other hand - Colin can't resist a QB in a USC uniform 😅
