Appreciated - as aPacers fan. As folks are saying - if these games are 46 min Pacers win, but of course they are not and Celtics showed calm, poise and talent every game when needed. Was a master class lesson in clutch play for my Pacers to hopefully learn from. I'm still rooting for Dallas but hats off for the better team won )

Before we go any further I gotta say that Pacers team has my respect. They have an insanely difficult offense to deal with. They’d give anyone problems. Jaylen said it, but they literally turn it into a track meet. Very little time to set your defense. Even on made shots that ball is in the front court in 2 seconds max. The Pacers' ball movement, shooting & the fact that their entire rotation has the ability to hit middies at a 40+% clip is wild. It's no wonder these guys were the top ranked offense even with Haliburton's struggles after he hurt his hamstring.

Baskeball Hall of Famer, Paul Pierce gave the perfect analysis of the series. The other 2 panelists, who have not played in the NBA at all, were more on their feelings, and their dislike of the Celtics particularly Skip Bayless. I prefer listening to the analysis of Basketball Hall of Famers - the Inside Guys are my favorites.

Celtics were undersized against the Pacers in games 3 and 4. Both 7'3" Porzingis and 7'1" Kornet didn't play. Celtics battled a Pacers team with starters 6'11" Turner and 6'9" Paskal Siakam. Pacers have two 6'9" guys for its bench. Celtics played small-ball when bench players are on the court. This is the reason why the Celtics could not maintain a big lead.

but that is the Mavs issue in a nutshell… there is no consist 3rd guy who can score for the Mavs without full-on assists from Luke or Kyrie. with KP (looking like he’s a day or 2 from healthy) the Cs, on the other hand, have 4-5 guys who have shown they can break down defenses and make winning plays

It's crazy how all media says how easy it for the Celtics. Porzingis has been out injured all but the first 3 games. And all 3 teams Boston faced played better without their star. How about the regular season when Celtics cruised through every healthy team and had the best record in the league by miles? Also has the NBA record for most 20-point leads (more than half of every game they played this year) and like the 4th best +/- differential in NBA history. 12-2 in the playoffs with about 9 blowouts and 3 great come-from-behind wins and it's still not good enough. Boston swept the Mav's this year including a big blowout. Kyrie is 0-10 vs Boston in the last 10 games since stomping on their logo. Hating the Celtics is just the latest fad. Celtics are winning the finals in 6 or less easily.

Mavs and Celtics are matched evenly with respect to the talent, Only difference is going to be the coaching strategy. Whichever team makes the best adjustments will win. It comes down IQ of the coaching staff along with team chemistry. Mavs have better backcourt and Celtics have better front court. difference makers are going to be Hoilday/white/KP/Al Horford for celtics and Lively/Gafford/PJ/D Jones, the supporting players contribution is the key to the championship. I feel Celtics supporting roaster is stronger.

This is literally how playoff seeding works. Teams try to get the #1 seed so they have easier matchups, more home games, and keep their health for the finals. This is why you're supposed to win your regular season games. 😂

Especially without Haliburton in the lineup. Could have been easily tied 2 - 2 heading back to Boston with him in the lineup. He played a lot better at home in the NY series and in Game 7 at MSG.

@@WLJ1287 All valid points, hoping the Pacers can pickup one more star quality player for next year. As far as his initial injury goes, I saw the game. He slipped on a wet floor and did the splits pulling his hamstring. Don't think it made much difference weather it was Boston or another team playing the Pacers for him to strain / re-injure it in the playoffs.

What did happen in this past series which will be big when Porzingis comes back in the Finals is that Holiday & Horford got their offensive game going... Good luck stopping Boston at full strength in the finals. Boston is taylor made to beat the Mavs... Holiday & White can D-Up vs. Luka & Kyrie. Now with Porzingis & Kornet back...gives the C's a BIG advantage as far as bigs with Horford the 2nd option & Kornet the 3rd.
