Yeah, I remember seeing this back in the 90s on a video rental lark. Like a series of comic books, the plot is one thing after another. I wouldn't say "all over the place" because everything is resolved for the most part. It's not like an early Argento where you ask yourself "why did that happen?" but it does seem a LOT longer than 1hr 40 mins. Not because it's boring, but because SO many related stories happen in it. Liked it a lot.
Okay, it's like an anthology of semi-connected stories featuring many of the same characters, but there is no frame story or bumpers that demarcate when the next story begins. It's pretty seamless.
I remember renting this on a whim and loving it and then I couldn't remember what the movie was. Now I can watch it again. I think I saw a remake or a reboot and it wasn't the right one.
Thanks for bringing this 90s zombie back to my attention. The 90s will never die. 8:10 I like Poison Ivy and Catwoman too Catwoman is an anti hero by the way.
Always loved this strange little gem. Back in the days of VHS we'd rent out so many horror movies and lots were just bad, but every now and again you'd stumble across something like this. Great review as always and gotta say that you look amazing in that dress!.
When I was 13 I was at a comic books store having a look at some reissues of Dylan Dog and a random guy grabbed me by the shoulders and said "YOU GOTTA WATCH DELLA MORTE DELLA MORE, IT'S AWESOME" and vanished. I tried finding the movie but no rental store had it and the interwebs was no help either at the time. Anyway, thank you for reminding me of this movie's existence, I'm sure I'll have better luck at finding it now!
Girl behind the counter, you seem to like Junji Ito as well as shitty horror films, you might enjoy the spiral into horror live action movie, its 💯% mediocre
