Underwater River in Mexico.
We Also known as Cenote Angelita in
Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Hidden Underwater River Flowing Under the Ocean.
Located in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, there’s a secret underwater river called Cenote Angelita (Spanish for Little Angel) that can be found after a 10 to 15-minute drive south of Tulum. It is a unique place to see of this kind. this underwater creation, which looks a lot like a regular river would on the ground. There are even fallen trees and leaves on both sides of the “shores,” making this natural phenomenon look all the more surreal.
The Phenomenon Explained.
What appears to be a flowing river or cloud in the middle of Cenote Angelita is actually a layer of hydrogen sulphide. This hydrogen sulphide is the result of the mixing of the fresh water with the salt water. Hydrogen sulfide often results from the bacterial breakdown of organic matter in the absence of oxygen.
When diving in Cenote Angelita, this layer is about 2 meters thick. It makes the area look like an island surrounded by swirling clouds or mists.
Cenote Angelita is famous for its hydrogen sulphide. Divers describe this layer as at looks like an underground river at 100ft. Cenote Angelita is truly a place like no other.
You will also understand completely why divers from around the world flock to this place for a dive that they will never forget.

In the scientific world, this natural phenomenon is called the Halocline phenomenon and was only discovered at the end of the 19th century at the earliest (13 centuries after the revelation in the Qur'an) Al-Furqan 53: ۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌۭ فُرَاتٌۭ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌۭ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًۭا وَحِجْرًۭا مَّحْجُورًۭا ٥٣ "And He is the One Who merges the two bodies of water: one fresh and palatable and the other salty and bitter, placing between them a barrier they cannot cross." These refers to the river at the bottom of the sea , the sea that don't mix, etc. It's NOT BECAUSE of physics and chemistry. But Qur'an has mentioned it, and physics and chemistry proves it.

In Surah Al-Furqan verse 53 which reads, (And he who let the two seas to flow) by side (which is fresh longer fresh) was very fresh again refreshing (and the other salty and bitter) salty at all so it was bitter (and He has made between the two walls) limit that caused both the water is not diffuse, between one another (and the limits that hinder) the barriers that prevent them from mixing. The text makes clear enough explained that the real freshwater and saltwater can be separated by the will of Allah.
