Both in-possession and out-of-possession, our center backs are the anchors of our U14 soccer team's 4-3-3 formation. Our defenders use different passing skills to distribute the ball forward and start attacks. We encourage our center backs to break lines or play over the top into space if an opportunity arises. In this video we'll see our center backs play balls into space and feet; for attackers and midfielders; between or behind opposition lines.
