Of all the brands shown, the locals seem to lean towards Boston Whaler by a noticeable percentage. Are they sold based on durability or speed? The name to me, implies it was built to take abuse and still perform well.
8:55 the Boston Whaler with the dude party on board. Looks like they are running with the ladder down in the back. If not that then they have to be dragging something. Should not have all that splash and spray around the engines when on plane.
I've been doing it a long time.. some are obvious, some are common, some I recognize styling, some I have to research and nail down the model, some I don't have a clue.. I usually research a boat for 30 minutes before I give up.. I hated to give up on this one.. 04:25 such a nice ride, some styling like a Scout with a little Intrepid in it

hello, i just found this channel and I have some questions. I am not really a boat person so please forgive me if I am asking some stupid questions. 1. What are the prices of these kinds of boats? I saw some of your other videos that had prices of giant yachts, would be cool if you put prices on these as well. 2. Where are these people all going? seems like on any given day there are tons of people out on the water, what do they (or you) do? Fishing? Just driving around? It seems too choppy for water skiing which is what i've done before. 3. I've only been on a couple boats before, they all had one engine, and I saw some that had 2 and thought they must be really fast. I see a lot here with 4 engines. Is there any reason or is it purely speed? 4. Why do some boats have these giant antennas sticking out and some others do not? Thanks for the videos, and hopefully these questions aren't too painful.
Hi Welcome! glad you're here! 1. Prices vary wildly on boats depending on age, condition, power.. a Contender 39 could cost anywhere from from $300k to $500k, I usually only put a price on a boat if I have seen that exact boat for sale, I don't want to put out bad info. 2. The boaters are going out to fish, chill, run to Miami, up to Fort Lauderdale, the keys, Bahamas, lots of places to go in South Florida. not a lot of waterskiing here. 3. Multiple engines for redundancy, power, speed and bragging rights. 4. The giant antennas are called outriggers, they are not antennas, during trolling fishing lines are connected to them and they are splayed out to keep all the lines away from each other to avoid tangling and cover a wider area Not painful at all! enjoy!
My boat is in my slip waiting to be recommissioned for the season. Watching these vids makes me so jealous. But I still love them. Great job as always.
We all loved to watch planes take off and land as kids now we watch nice boats come and go from the inlet Great job. Have you tried any drone footage over the boats in the inlet? You have great knowledge of boats keep up the good videos
as I understand it, bay boats have a shallower draft, less of a v bottom, have flat deck areas for standing and less freeboard than an offshore center console..

Incluso hay algunos que tienen una cabina lo suficientemente grande como pata pasar alguna que otra noche por ahí. Creo que son muy utilizables. No crees? Un saludo!!! Hola, las consolas centrales siempre han sido muy populares en la Florida debido a la facilidad de uso en la pesca y las giras, y tampoco hay una necesidad significativa de protección contra el clima frío o una cabina para dormir.
