Center Console Controls (Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6T 2022)

Just wanted to share the controls and indicators found on the center console of the Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6T. There are physical buttons/switches which are the Auto Hold, Electrical Parking Switch, Hazard Toggle Button and the Engine Start Stop Switch. The rest of the buttons are touch buttons embedded in the glossy piano black finish.
This video showcases what these buttons do when tapped or pressed like when the AVM button is tapped, the infotainment screen will display the AVM in front view, or when the Mode Selector is tapped it changes driving mode depending on the current drive mode you're in.

Hi again Sir Ismael👋. Good question!👍 I believe this happens automatically (I haven't noticed a setting for this... yet). But whenever you've been driving and the car detects something or someone in on the second (maybe there is a sensor for weight) when you turn off your engine it will remind you to check your things on the cluster😁. However, when you start the engine and not drive and turn OFF the engine, it won't inform you to check your rear seats. Hi, I have a quick question about system software update. So to keep system updated I need only turn on WIFI and update a system or system update is much more complicated, I mean need flash drive with system update file or even to ask service center to perform update? Thanks

Hi Sodleon👋. Good question👍 Here in the Philippines, the way the AutoLock for the doors were installed was by going to the service center and have them do the update. I think that would be best to avoid any warranty issues🙏. In anyway, thanks for watching and for asking this🙇‍♂️. I really appreciate it.

Sir Dennis, preference ko lang ito ah, and I have yet to ask sa casa if ganito talaga lahat ng kapit ng auto hold or sakin lang. Iniipon ko muna lahat ng tanong ko para sulit pag punta sa casa 😅

@@NotAProDrayber no worries sir natry ko sya if magmamaneuver kasi sa pagpark if full stop ramdam mo ung autohold e haha tapos pag reverse mo ramdam mo ung pitik ksi so parang muscle memory nalang tlga to off din the autohold for me hehe

Hello Thank you for the detailed videos. I have one quick question that I am concerned about. I hope you could help me out. There is feature in this car called AEB (Automatic Emergency breaking). I want to disable that feature. I can do so from the infotainment system under Vehicle settings > Auxiliary Drive. But the next time I start the car the setting is again turned on. Although all of my other settings remember my last option selected but this doesn’t. Can you please suggest a solution to this.

Hi again sir WenWen👋 I've just tried it and you just have to place the gear in Neutral like you would normally do, then release the parking brake. I was able to do this with the engine running👍. I hope this helps🙏 Thank you for watching🙇‍♂️

Oops Apologies, I think I misunderstood your question🙇‍♂️ Correct me if I'm wrong, I think you're pertaining to Auto Parking feature when you place the car in neutral?🤔 Unfortunately, it doesn't have that feature, but this is one of the basics here in the Philippines (at least when learning how to drive - parking).

No sir, its not about auto parking feature. I mean if in certain condition we have to park the car in parallel position behind or in front of other cars. So how to put the gear to N , release the “hand brake” then shutdown the engine, since that both of them are electronic button not mechanical . In some “old” conventional AT cars there is a switch to unlock the gear from P to N and just release the conventional handbrake when shutdown the engine, so if needed someone can easily move our cars by pushing it lets say if our car blocking theirs. 😂

Hi sir @@wenwen2016 👋 I tried to put it in Neutral and releasing the Park Brake. But every time I turn off the car the Park Brake will engage automatically (I hear it engaging).😢 I might be missing something though🤔or it could just be how this car works - that it won't allow you to put the car in Neutral even when it's turned off.

Hi@@rorisangseane3362 👋Gotcha, thanks so much for clarifying🙇‍♂Unfortunately we don't have the default voice commands here in the Philippines and I use CarPlay most of the time with my iPhone hooked up using USB😅. I still use the voice command button though or sometimes I just say "Hey Siri" and it will listen to me, but only if I have my phone hooked up to the car. Go to Setting in your headunit. Then to settings. There is customize wake up words. Just set and change to whatever you want.

Hi again sir Dennis👋. Sa napansin ko sakin, makapit yung brake niya, and bago magauto release yung brake medyo malakas na yung acceleration (its more than I need na). Pwede din na mabigat paa ko sa gas 😅 That’s why when I need small increments moving forwards or backwards off ko na yung autohold. @@NotAProDrayberhi sir, for autohold, pag mag gas na kayo from full stop and activated si autohold, tap the gas pedal once to release yung kapit ng autohold or to deactivate then tsaka po kayo mag gas ulit.

Hi BORGS👋So sorry, hindi ko pa po na-gauge yung fuel consumption ko😅I use it on weekends lang and mostly nakapark lang because we're taking videos with AC on😅I'll take note of this and let you know once I have a more accurate reading sa Fuel Consumption.
