DISAPPEARING COMPONENTS: * I highly recommend having a permanent 2nd workbench. Whenever you need to craft cards, use the multi-make option and then DON'T PICK THEM UP from the bench. The game ~might~ consider them to still be "attached" to the bench. * If you need to make more than 5 at a time, make a 3rd bench. * OR you could have one bench make the MAIN item. Use the 2nd bench to make the individual components. Then add sub-items as you craft them. Hope this helps/works! PS. Where you placed the workbench, temporarily, works perfectly. You don't need to use the milling machine that often and making the 2nd workbench perpendicular looks good/is ergonomic. 🙂
You really should have two workbenches because it feels so good to be able to go to next when you do those mistakes, just hope to not do it on both! 😀 👍
Hey Rusty. Just found your channel as I was looking around for videos about this game. I just got it about two weeks ago. Seems like a channel I will probably like and end up subbing to!! I have a question about the game, and as I haven't gone back to watch older videos yet, you may have already addressed this, but is there a reason you haven't added more parking spots yet?? It would bring in more customers and the money would go up faster. But I'm thinking it might be that you want to build your stock up before getting too many customers??? Also, I find it better to always have two workbenches, at 45* to each other. That way you can be building the main item on one of them, and the components for it on the other one. And if you're going to keep two saws, I face mine at 45* to each other so the planks come off at the same end and I have a plank pallet sitting the space at the corner of them. I DO like how you have your ingot pallets set up tho!! Gonna have to move mine now. I also think this game needs to be, and would be awesome to be, multiplayer Keep up the good work!! I will eventually get caught up on your videos!!

Regarding the parking lot, I just hadn’t given too much thought into completing it. 🤣 The store’s at a point now where there are always about five customers waiting at the checkout lanes, so I could definitely add more checkouts to then allow me to add more parking. And then also need to have product to sell. 🤣
@@rustychampaign Yeah. That's pretty much what I thought. I made the mistake of making tooooo many parking spots (I have 3 rows paved) and I'm getting way to many customers for my ability to produce product. And I found out that you can NOT delete the paved spots once you have paved them. I have 4 automatic checkouts going (that's the max). I also currently have 4 water bottling machines. I sent a suggestion to the dev to make it so we can close the store to do restocking. We'll see. I just completely revamped my basement and moved every single piece of equipment to more efficient locations. I now have my workbenches set up more like yours. I also just started building the automatic fabricator. MAN!!! That takes A LOT of parts!!! I hope it ends being worth it, but I'm afraid it's not going to be. It's REALLY parts expensive. Hopefully, you keep going with this series at some point. 😉
