This video explains the basic structure of a switch and how switches interconnect to control the hot water circuit in an S-plan, two-port zone valve, system. This is emphasised using a simple line-drawing. The components are assembled, wired into a junction box and the system tested.

Hi Adam. Great video. I set up my system similar to yours but I used choc box instead of wago wiring centre. If, as you suggested, having 2 zones for heating and one zone for hot water (3 switches in programmer), I presume you would need to use a 3 channel programmer as opposed to 2 channel in your video
