This Dodge LCF (Low Cab Forward ) has an inline 6-71 as the cab has no filler panel in under the doors.To fit the 8V-71 in the frame for clearance, the cab had to set higher up w/ the hood and fenders. This driver knows how to handle that Dodge, not letting it slam on the ground after a run.
You have to wonder if Dodge ever made a pretty truck, but there's no doubt that Detroit made a diesel engine for all occasions, pretty in their simplicity, memorable for their one of a kind sound.
Dodge trucks have been pretty since 72 boss. 😅 Maybe not exactly sexy for the heavy duty trucks but they're growing on me as I see them. Not many out there still running around tho.
@@johnathanweaver8614 I really wanted to talk about how " Diesel Smoke " is just soot and falls to the ground. Gas engines produce invisible smoke that pollutes way more then any of these trucks. Gas emissions go up to the atmosphere. " Diesel Smoke " falls down to the ground.
Did any of you notice, as he sets down the truck (gently! well done!), smoke comes out of the intake ... it must have still been in gear; stalled, and started running backwards!
What is that driveshaft made from? Holyfukinshittingium? Possible a rod from god even... When the engine ran backwards, he could reversed the sled back to the start.
