The best floor out there, IMO. As a kid I always thought the best buildings had this type flooring, although I knew nothing about it or what it was called. Then for many decades commercial buildings mostly went to cheaper materials. It's making a come-back and I'm glad.
Whoever that is on his knees has the right boots on ...No Heel! From what I can tell he looks like he knows what he's doing....the floor ahead of him looks flat! Well done!
My dad's house is nearly 60 years old, he was a terrazzo installer and the door entrances and stairs are all terrazzo. Still looks like new if maintained well. He is all worried when he has to leave the house and the next people that come in will tear the floor out. I keep telling him, the floors don't look bad, issue is the rest of the house still looks like 1960 to 1980 with plastic covered furniture.
If you don't mind me asking what city did your Dad work in? I'm a Terrazzo Man myself....started in the 80s....My Son is also one outta Minneapolis....I started in LA and went to Frisco....
