Bro, ur videos have extremely high quality. Both video & audio. Also ur added animation and simple way of explanations always helps me. Keep up the good work. Hope we can get a video per month.
Hey Man!! Adam, I can't express how much helpful are these videos of yours..!! Your skills are just beyond limit..!! Hoping new videos quite frequently.. Thank you again for such great education...
As an outsider to all of this, this information is SOOOOOOO helpful. I seriously started to learn these concept by ignorantly browsing through a Harbor Freight catalog. I DO NOT recommend this strategy. Gorgeous editing, nicely organized script, great audio, great camera work, post-production animation is beautiful...So glad I found this channel. THANK YOU FOR THIS!! I'd be more than happy to contribute a buck or so per video, if you ever wanted to get into that whole Patreon thing. I'm probably not alone in that. Just something to think about.
Hai.... Your videos are perfect piece of knowledge for the universe... Your videos are helpful to Many technical people working in the industry,IAM one of them... Please continue your videos...we are egarly waiting your next video...
As a maintenance technician and a waste water operator I love watching your videos. All are very informative and well done. Can you please discuss the Eddy pump?
Love this channel and all contents! You teach so well with this good quality videos. Can't wait to see the next one ;) Do you recommend others mechanical channels ?
Dude, you are the man. I work for a pipeline company on the commercial side, and I could never get a good answer on how these pumps actually work, and you come in here and just explain things so perfectly. You’re the best, and keep PoPPing those Ps, I love it
Great Video guy!! I just found out your videos accidentally. It's really a great channel I'm mechanic and I'm learning a lot. Keep this amazing work. Best regards from Brazil...
You have some great videos here. I hope you continue to make many more. Your style reminds me of Alton Brown. Everything is explained very clearly and is still interesting with helpful graphics. Great work!
This channel is 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Please make a video of horizontal multistage pumps in detail, from smallest to largest, to highest pressure / head.... with general applications.... 🤠🤠
Thank you for taking time out of your life to make these great educational videos! I am currently working at a chemical manufacturing site and looking to make the switch into oil manufacturing. These videos are a huge help to me since its been a long time since I had to know the detailed inner workings of the equipment I currently use and will be using in future careers. Again Thank You and please make more videos. :)
I need a quote on a6/8 Berkeley cetrifical pump. Frame mounted pump drive by a pto shaft power source is a90 HP Perkins 6 cylinder diesel engine. The shaft size is 1/516 shaft size. The impeller size is 13 inches. I would need a complete shaft kit. My impeller looks good.
OMG YOU ANSWERED MY LONG AWAITED QUESTION. So the closed impeller is like a tesla turbine, which is better/more efficient than bladed ones!! Thank you so much
Dear Adam, not related to your posts, I would like to ask if adding a check valve could help reduce head pressure from a single magnetic drive water pump at 250 gal/hr at 5 feet through 1/2 inch PVC pipe, and if check valves would prevent forward flow. Can you answer this question? Thanks. Robby
The split case pump is sealed with Chesterton split mechanical seals. In this case the seal model is the 442, probably the finest split mechanical seal available today. A new version of Chesterton’s split seal is available named the 442C you can check it out at www.chesterton442c.com
great videos my man! As a power engineer they're great training videos and a nice break from reading text books. Would love to see more vids in the future, keep up the good work!
Ok so you have done positive displacement pumps and centrifugal pumps, but you missed a class of pumps entirely, the side channel, AKA ring blower AKE regenerative pump.
Adam could you include some consideration of the Tesla Pump ( AKA shear turbine/pump) style impeller please? And how does it compare to a traditional impeller for efficiency and for slurry handling. Thank you.
Is the vortex pump is a special type of centrifugal pump? How is the impeller in Vortex pump differentiate from the open impeller in centrifugal pump? Can you make a video about vortex pump? Thanks
I'm very grateful for your educational videos, and I would like to advise you to take necessary PPE inside facilities and especially take off the ring from your hand to avoid any finger injury.
Hai Adam, seems your centrifugal pump can be join developed with my new pumped storage hydro, then generating the electricity. Drop me an email if interested. Welcome any one have the same ideas. Thanks
3- whats wrong if we put the isolate valve befor the check valve and as you know the check valve in common put before the isolate valve in discharge line
2- whats the different if we put the check valve after isolation valve in discharge line?, we know its common to put e check valve before isolation valve
I have a question for what you are saying at 4:02 I thought pressure decreases as the speed increase. Can you explain why this is not what we observe in this case?
whats the effect of impeller materials in the pump efficiency according the kind of water , for example in our area some time the water has high ratio of salt, or the turbidity of water high ratio
Amazing video. i'm foundryman, I produced such castings like an impeller and the housing but didn't know how it actually works, because we only supply in the condition of the spare parts not complete pump to Europe and America, which they complete assembled. Very valuable video, thanks, keep up the good work. immediately Subscribe!
I hope after you cover the majority of the major basics of machine tech you get into more intermediate difficulty stuff. Super impressed with the videos quality. Also, just adding my 2 cents here, since this channel is obviously easily monetizable you go with patreon funding and not sponsors. IMO if you were to monetize more in the future you could make plenty off viewer contributions without subjecting us to (baked in) advertisements. Again, my 2 cents. You are an impressive creator. ♥
Bruh, I'm so pumped! I just serviced a fishing boat's hold tank down pump and i now know that it was a semi-closed, vertically oriented, close-coupled, single stage centrifugal pump! These video's are the best, please keep making them!
