It might be. I found a video that someone else shared, and thought it was a better illustration of the physics than the actual Gravitron ride, but that's the only carnival name for it that I've ever heard. I think this video was taken in Australia.

@@brain.eating.amoeba technically gravity is fictitious by the same logic, since you are accelerating when on the ground and “stationary”. But you’re still correct.

So why aren't they called Centripetal Dryers?

So if it’s centripetal force, why are machines made to separate solids from liquids called “centrifuge”machines? …..because centrifugal force is VERY real!!!
