This video was one of the most fun videos to make yet! Day of Dragons videos aren't going anywhere of course though, heck I just became an official content creator! Also since I've gotten a few comments about it, there was an issue in the recording that caused some parts of the video to drop framerate, but this only happened twice throughout the whole video so I hope its not too big of a deal, I fixed the issue for future videos though
The only thing I can think of is them not having a new season every 2 weeks like fornite and slamming u with another battle pass that u will never get thru and not get ur moneys worth out of. I’m good on that.
I recently started playing it, I can't believe I never knew about this game, in my opinion I love it and it has some of my favorite things, which are dragons, competitive, multiplayer pvp.
I loved it until today. I’ve lost every single match. I’m the only one on my team scoring points. I literally cannot completely my dailies and it has been dozens of matches. I don’t know what is going on. My performance is starting to get worse because I’ve lost all enjoyment within in a week. And it’s 100% because of this ridiculous issue that is statistically impossible.
Woah i havent touched this game in so long! the fact dragons are no longer tied to classes is nice!! im gonna have to start playing again omg seems like there's been lots of improvements since last i played
I couldn’t find the name of this game for so long and I’ve just finally been able to play it!! I found it and I’ve been playing so much. I love it sm. I’m glad to hear I joined right when it’s becoming more alive
Is anyone else having an issue where you lose every single match all day and can’t complete any quests because of it? I’ve been the top scorer on my team all day and lost every match all day. This doesn’t seem possible.
@@SorenPenrose I typically experience that time to time. It can get frustrating for sure. There’s a few techniques you can look up on to escape certain death and stuff which help make you win matches a little easier. Although it’s hard when you have an inexperienced team. You can try ranking or racing instead and you can great rewards through those as well. Especially when you’re stuck in that situation. I’ve been top ranking for matches as well and many team members leave mid match which makes winning a lot harder as your down an extra person or two and you’re just doomed to fail.
@@ellakeller8824 it’s not been an issue today. I’m guessing player count is the biggest factor, as you mentioned. I wish we could record how we were killed because there are some players I’d really like to learn from.
We stopped playing Century at the beginning of Season One tbh, played from official release to then. Haven't really been back since then unfortunately but I heard they did revert the bad control changes. The feel of the game hasn't changed with the bad matchmaking which was the biggest factor of us quitting.
I’m not sure about the matchmaking, but my theory is there isn’t many people playing anymore, so there isn’t many people to choose from in the matchmaking
Does it? I was having fun but today I’ve been the highest scorer on my team all day and still lost literally every single match. That isn’t statistically possible on a random matchmaking system. So I’d like to enjoy the game, but after dozens of consecutive losses with an entire team up my @$$ the whole match it just isn’t fun anymore. And I’ve only been playing a week.
@@wave-fr0g517 haven’t had the issue today. Fair mix of wins and _holy hell he’s really good at this_ which is how I learn so that’s a plus. The 1v4 thing was tiresome. Don’t play on Mondays.
@@TheRiskyroar thanks I've been trying to get friends on century but they say it's boring because they bet there lives that no body is gonna play because of the unexpected disconnections
Had 273.8 hrs on record: been there when it started out, even played the beta -- was hella fun! Until it came out public and it started to become...hmm, unenjoyable; mostly due to matchmaking and very coordinated teams that would ahhiliate the fun for causals. At the time I don't think there was a ranked mode, I can't remember since its been a while but hell, possibly there was but no one would play it. I just couldn't have fun no more due to the teams I went against or had. The game didn't have vc(voicechat) so I could only rely on pings and hope my team understood what I was assigning for them to do --- don't even know if it made a difference when the devs implemented vc lol I think more people started to leave from that point on and eventually I went. I did come back for the new things though ehhh ...the season pass and whatnot felt greedy in my eyes, but like its a free game so its understandable they need something to gain them money, I guess. I don't know...the game just didn't feel the same like it did on beta. I want to return but ehhh the low player count is also one factor I don't bother coming back which Im assuming matchmaking is still questionable due to that :,D I do miss it tho
The game in and of itself is still very very fun, and I’m pretty sure they did add voice chat, but outside factors such as the scummy devs, removal of the eggs system, and poor matchmaking likely due to low player count makes it much less enjoyable than it was in the beta :/
I tried this game back when it first released, it wasn't terrible but the controls just felt too slow. Like I couldn't turn around fast enough even when I wasn't flying at high speeds
When trying to turn rapidly, hold back while turning, this will make you turn on a dime but you’ll have to use a stamina point again to boost and regain speed right after
Back in the day before the battle pass you used to get eggs every I think 10 levels? Maybe 30, now eggs are really rare, now you just get fully grown dragons without needing to grow them, I think I got a lot of my dragons from battle passes and some of my favourites I bought with gems
@@TheRiskyroar ahh, I understand now, maybe I received the eggs after a few games, cause I started to playing weeks after the release and stopped, but I came back this year... fortunately I got at least three 😅. Great video man. (btw, your black bloodchaser skin is dope!)
I am in agony watching you avoid every single shield and buff ever available to you on the map. Please...I am begging you...the shields. the blue shields...they would have saved you so many times. Edit: nvm we good i saw you start picking them up later in the video =3 old instincts kicking in slowly but surely
@@TheRiskyroar You should work on your brake turns =3 Braking during flight is essential to both dodging and getting items you missed. you can also dodge (uses stam) into objects you missed. But also learning stamina management is a must. its all rather a lot.
@ArioftheDarkness I do use break turns quite often but I really need to get used to the dodge xD I stopped playing not long after dodging was added so I have no muscle memory relating to it
I just started a few days ago and was doing pretty well…but today I lost every single match. I couldn’t complete daily quests. I was consistently the highest scorer on my team. Didn’t win once. It’s been dozens of matches just trying to complete a daily. Nope. What the actual f**k?? It was fun up until today. I even enjoyed the tough matches at first. The novelty has worn off. What do I do here?
Used to play this all the time, but the predatory shop system and the groups of clans and high level players farming quickplay just ruins the experience imo.
@@dannyphantom121 I don't play fortnite, and in this game your level doesn't mean anything. Leveling up does not increase any stats, it is skill based.
@@dannyphantom121 Except it's not JUST a skill issue. It's a lack of playerbase issue, and the devs not being active in making the gameplay more balanced for the average player. When you get clans and other players that have been around since the launch of the game that group up together and just farm quickplay, since ranked is dead 99% of the time, also due to the same players farming ranked, then average and new players are not going to have a fun time, they're going to be driven away by the huge skill gap, and due to constantly being in a cycle of die, respawn, die again, they're not going to be given the chance to learn. Stop gatekeeping a game because you got your feelings hurt by someone criticizing it when it deserves to be criticized.
Ok so the things I don't like is why did they put classes just to end up saying oh hey you can use any dragon for any person it's op, it should go back to how It was marauder with marauder character, and I liked the circular health better I could see them alot better.
If they change it back to what it was then they’re limited to 1 dragon type per class but the way it is now they can as many dragon types as they want without limit. It doesn’t make sense to me to basically say “I want less dragon types and I don’t want a choice in what dragon I ride”.
Constantly dashing. When you dash, or dive, they tuck their wings in tight to their body. When they are just "sprinting" or regular moving, they flap regularly.
