Watching a fighting game you've never played is always so confusing. *pharoah thingy knocks opponent into air* "oh this is gonna be huge damage." *~10 seconds of juggling using an assortment of blunt objects pulled from nowhere*
Sorry for the wall of text! I only just started learning Rise today, I might be wrong on some of these but here's what I think. for 3:03, I am pretty sure it was: AA>B>2AB>236CD, C>22B, 214A, Run up note oki shenanigans For the C after 236CD, there might be a micro dash but from the little I've played it's not 100% necessary in every situation. It's hard for me, so personally, so far I'm excluding the microdash, I haven't needed it yet but I might some time so idk... It also could be 214B but I'm too lazy to boot it up and check right now lmao, I think it's 214A tho. for 9:06 I haven't seen the combo before, so I might be getting it wrong, but I think I'm close AA>B>C>214A, 2B>C>22A, C>(whiffed)2AB, walk forwards, C>22B>Air dash back>scan with D while they are blocking the 22B This is a really cool combo if you need a scan but it looks pretty easy to mess up. In 2.0, dunno about 1.1, you can hold D to keep the scan out, so maybe while they are blocking 22B you can mix them up and release scan then to guarantee it more? Notice he didn't get the scan at 9:13, just the over head. Idk just thinkin here. **The important part about the **9:06** combo** is that the commentators said "crouching hit, so gonna be able to extend the combo." I can only imagine that combo works on crouchers only? I am worried about the opponent just... walking out of the 22B at the end though? Looks like LK jumped right before the second rainstorm of the 22B hit, so maybe you can do more stuff to get out of that. It worked, so no need to completely disregard it, but I don't know how actually solid it is. Still, keep it in mind. I think the 3:03 combo will get you going if you wanna learn this character, it's not that hard to get down imo. The hardest part is the C after 236CD I think, but I found that if I time the C button when Rise moves her arms back to a resting position it works really consistently. Note it obviously costs a bit of meter, but I find as a beginner I have a lot of extra meter by the end since idk where to use it lol. By the time you figure out meterless combos, you wont have that issue with meter anymore so that issue should solve it self!
