I know right. First was Coco and his Olimar making it to the grand finals against ZeRo and now it's Ratio and his duck hunt. All of a sudden the underrated characters are doing great in tournaments.

DH loses slightly to cloud, I doubt anti knew how the dog worked but good stuff to raito nonetheless

He doesn't, Most top DHs including Yusan consider it to be a losing mu for him

People sleep on Raito, he's basically the rounded dh.Yusan is the patient dh.Brood is more aggressive.Raito is a mixture.They are all exactly the same skill level, but they each play the character in the three main ways to play him, which is very useful for players picking him up.

they're close to each other and the skill gap between the Japanese dh trio and the other dh is quite big putting them in the same level doesn't seem that won't to me even tho you3 might be the best or is considered the best dh and brood in second place

Cloud is actually Duck Hunt's worst Matchup. And Mario does solidly in it too.

Cloud can't get inside characters that is able to contest his disjointed hitboxes or characters with bait-and-punish playstyles, hence why he loses to Bayonetta since her Bullet Arts are very effective at baiting. He just loses the neutral to zoners easily. Plus, most of Cloud's ground attacks aren't safe on shield and throwing out moves like his Up Smash just makes him prone to a shield grab or fast tilts.

DH can't contest the disjoints, and Cloud just takes the neutral for free. Nair/Dair sweeps away the setups easy peasy. Watch You3 vs. MKLeo.

Wisdom This is a bad matchup for Duck Hunt. Cloud just has too much range, speed, and kill power for duck hunt to contest. Iirc, even Yusan said this matchup sucks, but he is still able to make due.

It's mostly just the factor that Cloud can basically use one fast Nair or Dair to just clean the board of the setups, and there's little that DH can do about it except Shield Can.

I can see it now. First came Abadango, who cemented characters like PAC Man and Mewtwo. And now Raito will do the same with Duck Hunt dog. this video marks the start of a new era, the Raito saga.

DM Wanderer I mean, Brood, You3, have both done this stuff before... You3 went to last hit with MKLeo at G4, which he was at his prime at. Brood beat Zero. Not just one duck hunt, multiple. It's a DH Saga, not a Raito saga.

I agree with Fire Saga Tendou. The meta is fucking awesome right now. I can't wait to see what crazy meta change happens next. No one is ever ready for it. That's what makes Sm4sh so beautiful.
