Yo somebody ban yuz tournaments, he literally makes watching brawlhalla boring, he’s soooo passive to the point where the game is taking 6 fvcking minutes??? In pro tournaments??? Bruh, I also understand that it’s the character he’s using also but idk if I’m bmg, the takeaways from this is that for one there is something with end lag that need to be tweaked or rather the safety of on stage vs off stage. If you watch a lot of these games many go the players aren’t going for anythign crazy and especially not even bothering to play off stage cause of either how many options a player has or rather the consistency that you can dodge and evade something, and then in turn get punished Into a ko. Like there’s some issue there between the conversion of a player coming off stage to finish a kill and then ultimately getting dodged or weaved in some way and then sent flying to their own ko via sd because of the moves they had to use to get over to the player originally knocked off stage. You really don’t see any crazy clips from this tourney there were brief little ones but for the most part it was very lack luster because it seemed that no matter how much pressure you apply or try to read someone they just instantly dodge it and then run away. There’s needs to be something done with Dodge and dash, like some sort tot mechanic that limits them so this way you can just sit and evade all day. Something like how smash bros has your shield breaking so you can just sit and shield and or while your in shield you can get grabbed. Like it’s little things like that which prevent passive or too defense gameplay. Brawl doesn’t really have that. Dodge if times perfectly will alway always always work there no move that trumps it so essentially if you space well and react fast enough there’s no way to hit a player. You can say dodge read but as I said if you can react perfectly there is no dodge read, because the player only dodges when you actually attack not when you take attack. The concept of a dodge read only works if your opponent messes up and uses his dodge, if they don’t use but only when you actually genuinely try to attack them and they never fall for the pump fakes and misdirections or pressure applied through movement, then there is literlwly no way to get hits in. And we are seeing a lot of that now as players get better then are getting better with spacing and perfect dodge timing and not wasting their dodge. I think brawl should incorporate a move that specifically counter dodge, so that if you do dodge it can be cancelled just how in smash you can counter a shield with grab. Bmg also need to deal with axe like fr fr fr this time. This doesn’t even make sense, axe has been an issue since I originally started playing in 2017. It was an issue then it’s an issue now how the hell has bmg not listened. And at this point they are destroying their own game, watching a tournament full of passive ace gameplay is about as boring as it gets. The finals were set well before we even go there we knew whoever used axe is who would get there. It’s sad really and bmg seriously need to lock tf in if they ever wanna get out of this little loop cycle they’ve been stuck in all these years. Brawl although it has changed a lot in some ways it hasn’t changed in the ways needed and is generally the exact same shit storm that is has been for years now, with the EXACT same issues? Naw

@@Lock_bhnaaaaawwww ma boi, that’s not hate that’s facts, I will always always always say that a truly good brawlhalla player’s does not dip with playing different characters, a true pro or someone whose really good should be able to play different charcters and different weapons with the same level of skill, if you dissect kyna’s gameplay he is ultimately maybe not a good but definitely a play in terms of he’s reads or insane tech, he’s just very very very precise and cautious with a character that heavily plays into that playstyle. I mean having a neutral light that that hits with such a wide and long hit box and fires out at nearly an udodgeable speed, that also kills!!!! On orange form mid stage??? When literally no other character has a move that is not an sig that does that? Like bro cmon now. I’m not saying kyna isn’t really good, I just don’t think he’s as good as it appears. Like if bmg actually locked in and properly nerf axe like how the entire brawl community has been asking for years now, I don’t see kyna winning shit tbh. Sandstorm lost cause he started playing so safe, and the reason he was doing that was as cause he knew one mistake equals a million damage and that kuna can’t literally just passively sit there and wait, dodge, control neutral completely cause axe covers that whole area and is extremely easy to hit neutral with amazing follow ups, and he can just sit there and do that and while sandstorm is over her lighting kyna up with crazy combos and multi hits, kyna will just tap his with a couple light attacks and light combos and kill. The hit ratio for sandstorm to kyna was 7-18 😭😭😭 that stat alone should give all the info someone needs to determine whether kyna is that good or is it the character and weapons. Again im not saying kyna isn’t good I just don’t think he’s nearly as good as it seems, like someone like sandstorm can make it to top 8 maybe even lower with a wide range of characters and do so without even practicing the game 😂. Like that mf came of a heitus form brawl playing multi and then just hopped up dusted the rust off and then goes to winners, like what tf 😂. I’m not even a sandstorm fan but you gotta admit that shows a definite gap in talent between sandstorm and other players all these other mfs have been grinding their dicks off including kyna and then sandstorm just hops on for the first time in weeks and just makes it pretty damn far. Kyna plays religiously and still had to actually lock in to beat somebody who don’t even play brawl fr no more 😂
