Mercedes' weak point has always been her promo work. But I believe this was the best promo by Mercedes in AEW by far. She came across genuine and credible. I believed her. Everything she said was true. Britt was in fact a longtime fan of hers. And Mercedes never had a backup plan to fall back on. Her whole sole thing has always been wrestling. She took chances after chances solely on wrestling. I don't think Britt is on the same level to be able to do that. However, Britt is always good with her promos. She was good here as well. Not her best promo though.

I've been telling the same thing for years. Dr Britt Baker is the GOAT women's world champion in the history of professional wrestling. Her reign was supreme and very much entertaining. Since she dropped the title, the women's world championship has been stupid again as it has been before her. I can also see how Mercedes is trying hard to copy the Roman Reigns persona. If people can't look at it then they are stupid.
