The tutorials are extremely helpful for beginners, the game obviously gets super complicated at high levels but its more accessible than you might think
@@hazardousjazzgasm129 the tutorials are awesome and pretty much teach anyone just starting in fighters better than any other game or person can teach you on how to do these ridiculous combos. no joke. step by step and does it like no other fighter out there. pretty solid entry title into fighters if youre not intimidated. as accessible as it gets into standard fighters. ps theres no long cut scenes to sit through, no locked tutorial bits, its all there for you to use and learn to play all fighting games, not just skullgirls. pss i love this game even tho im bad.
@@888legends I completely agree, the things you learn in that tutorial aren't just specific controls or combos, but fundamental aspects like blocking and footsies that can be applied to just about any fighting game. Definitely one of the best tutorials I've ever seen in any game, fighting game or otherwise
@@blazaybla22 i do know, but I feel as though skullgirls shouldn't be a game where they add guest characters, even so like I said, Cuphead's moveset is very linear, sure they could make new stuff for them, but I'd feel as though cuphead would be another Peacock
I buyed this game the last week and i suck, but when i see how this guys play i realise... That im truly shit in skullgirls. But i still enjoy play against the cpu tho.

We got 4 characters coming in and only 2 are known with Annie (who is already in) and Umbrella coming in a some months There's still a chance for Victoria to come in so I'd hold on to some hope
Cloud totally makes me want to get as good as I can with Valentine because with the right assists and god like combos I will become as powerful as 300% Marie
The commentators are weak, they are not supposed to take anyone's side that is very unprofessional and disrespectful to the other player, we all know even them have their favorite but any good commentator knows you are not supposed to show that lol
I was watching this live Sunday and the Sonicfox vs cloud no..all the matches were great but those two were really going at it! This is why I love fighting game.
He didn’t drop it, he had too much undizzy to kill her with a super so he needed to reset. Because sonic knew that though he was ready to wakeup jab. Cloud got outplayed :( sonic’s awareness is just too good.

To be clear Lab Zero haven't said anything about an SG2, in fact, Autumn games (the publisher and rights holders for SG) haven't paid L0 their royalties for SG so unless that is resolved there is little chance of an SG2 anytime soon. Everyone should still try out and support Indivisible and Lab Zero though, it is shaping up to be a great game all on its own.
Lex Well thanks for the heartbreaking information but.... I’m still hopeful that we’ll see another Skullgirls game at least before we die or too old to lift a controller!! Lol And you’re absolutely right, people do need to pick up Indivisible as well as Skullgirls if they haven’t picked that up yet as well.

@@wingsofruinI'm just able to convert a launcher from the ground back down without dropping with Peacock and it's miles more fun than what I was doing in smash. I hope the switch can connect to other devices if I ever get comfortable enough to play online. Just slowing down the game in training is interesting to since this game applies the rules of animation phenomenally
the mobile really did a good job to introduce this to new players or whole FG in general. not the controls but to know the chqracters and their capabilities
I love this game so much I even got the mobile version! It's pretty good too! Switch is next :D......hoping for a Skullgirls X Indivisible fighter one day
there the only people that still play this game. its been reduced to a usual suspects melee-esque top 8 every year. what a shame. this game had so much potential
@@nonexistent2112 it did for the first few years it was out. like 2011-2015 was prime skullgirls. but after that when content drops ended and the game was "completed" in a word. population started dropping hard
wayvs they’re definitely not the only players that play this game. There’s a ton of monsters but these guys are just so good. There are a ton of amazing names that you won’t get to see because most tourneys only stream top 8. Every skullgirls pool is considered a death pool because the skill ceiling is just so high. Top 24 is filled with talented players
I got this on Switch and I am hot garbage but it's so easy to do crazy stuff that I want to keep playing anyway because it's fun. No idea Fox was active in this scene either

Though tbf, if someone hasn't watched in a reeeeaally long time, they might remember the days when Duckator, Elda Taluda, and Sonicfox were still going back and forth a little bit in sets. After Sonic's first major loss to Dekillsage though, who kinda came out of nowhere, that's when the real serious grinding started.
starcatcher Well when the first game is actually complete because certain key characters need to be playable like Annie Black Dahlia etc. for story reasons
i really suck at it but im glad Skullgirls is still living, i enjoy watching it and seeing my girl Cerebella do some work. is it me or is robo fortune op? i been out of the game for a while but she seems broken.
I didn't know sonicfox participated in skullgirls stuff! granted, I never watched sg tournaments, but I only knew that he played smash against hungrybox a lot. edit:: idk if im messing up who sonicfox is, I don't really watch game tournaments at all lol
Development is done, so no new characters. in terms of Balance, things are okay on that front as well. certain characters and teams are stronger than others, but you can make pretty much anything work in this game.
I'm not trying to be mean, but TBD seems like that one dude in a group project who did no work for it and is now just trying to get a passing grade and act like he knows what he is talking about.
I don't play this game at all so this may be a dumb question. Why do some guys bring 2 character teams? Doesn't that leave them with 2/3rds of the HP of the opponent?
Smaller teams get bonuses to compensate. In general, larger teams get more HP while smaller teams deal more damage. Playing with a smaller team is riskier, but if done right can tear through larger teams super easily
I think Sonics foxes strength as a player period is just how quickly he dials in and Adapts, and i think that actually just straight up translates to learning new games. He dials in and gets comfortable with new games so quickly it's rare to not see him as a top player in any game he commits to learning because of this.
