Very interesting kit ! I looked at it actually before I just one restore kit again on one car to restore the headlights but I used TurtalWax product but this one looks a bit easier and might even be easier . But very good end result well done ! Its not perfect no.. is it better ? Hell yes so I think its a good enough ..

Thanks for checking it out, Stan! Despite this kit containing ceramic coating (great protection), I prefer the cheaper simpler Harbor Freight restoration kit. One day I’ll upgrade my headlight assemblies to the ones you’ve done on to your X.

@@MaximumDIYGarage Sometimes simpler cheaper products work better then some more expensive once its funny how things sometimes. Oh yeah )) they sure look good much better and the price is not that too expensive ether if you think about it.. how much some other ones can cost.. Now how long will they stay that way.. before they get foggy too who knows.. but you will know for sure as I will keep you updated )

@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO The key to longevity of the restoration is clear coating the headlight to seal in the exposed plastic surface. I'm not comfortable using a spray can of clear on my headlights yet, so I did the ceramic coating. When it comes time to replace them, I may play and practice with those without worrying about ruining them.

Thank you for watching! Unfortunately, that is the ugly truth behind the “restoration” kits. They only give a temporary clarity to the lens. Once the original UV protection is worn off for the plastic lens, it will be prone to more oxidation as time passes. I expect restored lenses to last 6-12 months on average. You may have better, long lasting results by applying clear coat or a 3M type protective film over the headlights. Now these only extend the life of clear lenses, but not a permanent solution. Some people give up on lens restoration after trying it once or twice and just replace the headlights with the new ones (OEM or cheap eBay knockoffs). I hope this helps to answer your question.

Such is life! Not everything is according to instructions. Maybe that is why my results were sub par?
