correct ji..naanum pudhu bike recent ah vaangunen and i started showing interest in detailing and paint protection and i literally spent 4-5 months on gaining as much knowledge from top tier international detailers to local detailers and then only i started realizing painting the car is much easier than doing all these detailing stuffs.. its just a trend and brain wash and gimick trick to lure people into paint protection... no matter how much you protect, ceramic, graphene, ion, sealant , etc etc.. you will end up with swirls the next day itself if you wash your car improperly (most of 90% ppl in india does this)..also to prevent from scratches ppf can be done then also it isn't a viable solution as it isn't permanent and mainly its expensive and also, its isnt scratch resistent..it can only protect from scratches that too from certain pressure only.. if you use basic common sense, you will realize, waxing your car is itself highly enough and if your panel gets too much scratches and swirls you can go with painting the car with proper clear coat or DIY one step paint correction yourself, and paint correction is nothing but etching ur clear coat to a fine even polished layer.... Also, if your panels get damages heavily, all your invested money on paint protection is wasted as you will end up changing the panel....my conclusion is, if you are using your car in a museum or in a car show or if its just going to stay idle in a place for just a showpiece then you can go with detailing, but if you use your car as the daily driver, spending money on paint protection is complete waste in india..i would suggest spending more time online in learning detailing as much as possible and spend the money on the products directly and do it yourself..this will cost much cheaper than investing in detailing shops and also you can do this to all the vehicles in your lifetime ..there are tons of proper full length tutorial in youtube that teach detailing way better than what these detailers do in the shop in India...
