glad you played FF8, its my favorite game even on its flaws but it a great game for its flexibility on game mechanics. and replayability. GF siren can be drawn in the Boss on Communication tower in dollet. GF Brothers can be aquired at the Tomb of Unknown King. when you meet caraway and he sends you to that place.

This is my favorite of the series, i just discovered your channel and I'll have to go back and watch from the beginning. While my knowledge isn't encyclopedic, feel free to ask questions!

As I'm sure you've been told, Dispell is your salvation, but you dont deserve to know that for forgetting the damn name of the Garden.

junction Quake to Elem Def. Also make sure to cast Dispel when Cerberus casts Triple on itself. Then farm Triple with Draw. Cast Haste to make it easier

I think you should re-do all of your junctions. Seeing as you're this far into the game you should have 100 aga spells on each character already. Just putting strong magic into your junctions is very inefficient. Although tedious I suggest playing Triple Triad (the card mini game) to get cards like ruby dragon, blue dragon, tri face, etc. then if you have the refinement abilities refine those cards into the said aga spells until each character has 100. It might also go against your play style, but I also suggest just carding enemies you fight in the field with the card ability. You wont get xp but you'll still get ap for GF skills/abilities you want to learn.

Squall best junction GFs are Ifirt, Bahamut and Doomtrain.. Rinoa best junction GFs are Quezacotl, Brothers, Carbuncle, Pandemona, Tonberry, Siren, Cerberus, Cactuar and Eden.. Zell best junction GFs are Shiva,Diablos, Leviathan, and Alexander. Another tip whenever using Carbuncle which the GF does help reflect magic when the boss fights cast their magic, but what if the boss cast their own protection spell magic, then whatever is cast out from your characters bounces back on them. 😉

remember to get brothers gf from the tomb outside dwelling city (it has a funny story between them too!) once you are out of this area, gives you hp junction that you clearly lacked. try leveling a little and get hp junction if you havent on ifrit. i understand that you are not following guides and thats perfectly fine =). HP junction to learn from diablos tooo, makes it a lot harder for you to die. without proper understanding of junction system, cerberus is one of the hardest boss to fight. cause at this point the games expect you to at least have 3 hp junctions on3 3 champions.

Cerberus goes 3 times because he cast "triple". To counter that, use dispel on him, as soon as it casts "triple" or "double". But since you managed to beat him anyway, take that as advice for future boss fights. As soon as you see a double or triple, dispel ASAP.

Wow you didnt play cards? Card mod will help get items you need for high level spells and weapon parts. One lion heart and boss is done most bosses are done actually.

Galbadia, man, I forgot but it's not too bad that fight, I think you have to attack the heads with different types I think? It was a bit difficult for sure but not as bad as the long ass final fight lol

Not really even with Rinoa lv 99 ALL others lv 100 on DISC 1 as long as you absorb Thundaga/Tornado/Quake AND BE IMMUNE TO Beserk/Silence its harmless you will absorb all 3 of its spells while making sure it can't berserk/mute anybody.

When I fight cerburus I have lvl 9 party with max hp and lionheart.. You need to restart and play the game correctly

You and your GF's are horribly under leveled. Your basically at the end of the 2nd Act and still in your 20's. Also level your abilities you can have make lv magic to your character early on in the game. I had characters at lv10 with high level magic. Remember where you got Ifrit? You can get your GF's abilities from the exam all done at a lower level also mug your enemies.
