Ceres is a dwarf planet located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter; she is the 'mother' of the asteroids. In mythology, Ceres (also known as Demeter) was the mother of Persephone who was abducted by Hades (Pluto) and taken into the Underworld. After Persephone was kidnapped, Ceres grieved deeply and removed the natural bounty from the earth to represent her loss while her daughter. Upon Persephone's return to the earth, Ceres renewed the earth with spring seeds and a new season began in her life, as well as in her experience as a parent.
Ceres is associated with fertility, abundance, harvest, transformation, and renewal through the seasons. Due to losing her daughter, Ceres is also connected with the parenting experience of loss, grief, death, detachment, and transformation as a child becomes their own person on their own journey. 1. Go to www.astro.com and create your natal chart
2. Under Free Horoscopes, click on Extended Chart Selection
3 . Scroll down to "Additional Objects" and select Ceres in the box.
4. Then go to "Click here to show your chart"

Thank you Molly. You make me want to learn more about astrology. Ceres in my 7th H in pisces. Had a toxic family and partner. Never had children but rescued hundreds of animals and experienced lots of deaths😢 I am also a teacher and forgot to have and save time for myself

OMG astrology is so friggen fascinating ... 1st house Ceres 1degree conjunct to Chiron :) taught me lessons that were literally described to me (by the Vulture) as the Cycles of Life on earth back in 2014 and 2015 when Mars & Pluto conjunct 2 degrees from my Ascendant in the 12th crossing me over into the Dark Night of the Soul. Ceres is conjunct my Venus in Aries in my 8th...I feel it's a witchy placement that honors both the cycles of nature and psychological new beginnings 🌾🦋🌻🍂 Ceres is also trine my Moon, Mars, Chiron and my North Node. 🙏🖤🌙 I lost my mother when I was 14..and it may sound strange but its helped me have wisdom about death and the cycles of birth,life and death..I'm a reincarnationist though..so I don't believe in absolute death

I am a Cancer sun 12th house, Sagittarius moon 5th house with Neptune and Leo rising! Trying to learn more and the best I can. I have Chiron conjunct Ceres at 28 & 29 Aquarius and both square my 28 + Scorpio Ascendant. Thankfully, Jupiter is transiting both Chiron and Ceres now & will go over those points again by the end of this year!

Ceres Aries house with chiron, no chance I was having kids and mother was cold. I find people superficial and cold and isolate these days, the great barreness is humanity.
