After spending 3+ months in the Yucatan I finally came to Guanjuato I was so happy to see mountains and be able to hike!
Cerro De La Bufa is a beautiful hike for any skill level.
it is loop trail that totals about 5 miles (8km) 2,000ft elevation

Great to see you back out on the trail! Amazing that you could walk right out your front door and get to the top of that mountain. A rugged yet beautiful landscape, that hike seems to have a little bit of everything. I was intrigued by the cave area and religious artifacts, another excellent piece of film making.

Great video! We own property on Cerro de Gallo. Right behind the mall where the Mega and La Marina stores are. Plaza Pozuelos. We can see the Bufa from our windows when we’re there. To help you with your pronunciation of Guanajuato. Think of the lizard iguana but leave the I off. And sound the J kind of like W with the following U silent. But even most locals give the beginning G more of a W sound as well. Hope that helps.

Nice video!! But it would be nice if you describe more about the hike like distance, time ( I know it’s something relative, but it can give me an idea), level of difficulty Looking forward to do it !!

Thanks i did explain the distance in the start of the video :) but the trail is on All trails if you would like a bit more infor *t should take about 3 hours to finish the hike.

Honestly this took like 6 hours cause of me filming and relaxing taking in the views. But ive done quick hike through in 3 hours
