As someone who's been following Brent's journey for a while now I feel this weird sense of pride seeing a vice feature about him. Makes me happy to see how many people care about his vision.

I stumbled upon Brent's RU-vid channel 3 days ago. I just finished watching all of the episodes so far last night. I am so addicted to the story of the town and his life in it. One of the best RU-vid channels there is.

I have so much respect and admiration for Brent's work - not to mention, I've been a fan for several months. I imagine that many great builders of the ancient world knew they wouldn't live to see the completion of their work. The time and investment it must have taken to undergo such a task was nothing short of legendary. I see Brent's dedication to his work in the same light and I'm thrilled that VICE featured his story so that even more people can marvel at his modern-day wonder.

Vice just knows that "TicTok" has more buzz, but we all know RU-vid is the place to watch this

I visited there about 11 years ago when the management was a little less friendly. I was on a geology course trip. My husband and I joke about the day the previous owner walked up to our group and said, "I owwwnnnn Cerro Gordo," as we surveyed the surrounding mountains.

Brent taught me a lot this pandemic , i have started appreciating everything i have .

I started watching "Ghost Town Living" on RU-vid when the pandemic hit way back and followed Brent ever since. That sinking feeling and lost hope took its toll on our mental health. And my wife and I REALLY needed something different and completely unrelated during a time that felt so incredibly unreal. We stopped watching the news altogether. All the hatred, killings, riots, death, destruction, left vs right, so this was our outlet. Ad he made it so much fun & super interesting to watch. My wife and I were paying big money for numerous streaming services but we lost our jobs so they all had to go. It was Brent we watched and still do, and not because he's all we had but because it truly is an interesting, unique story full of exploration, discovery, trials, and tribulations. Should you find the time, try and check out a couple of episodes. Brent is well worth it, he's truly a good soul. I have yet to see anyone on RU-vid with True Heart.

I grew up in AZ and these abandoned mines are everywhere, something like 100,000, and they all have some pretty messed up history behind them. I'm sure that place is haunted ASF !!!!

I have been here many times when I was younger. I remember all the ghost stories and photos that they used to show us. I’m glad he is bringing this place back.

minute 5:20 is the attitude that most people should have about history, it doesn't matter that the history is bad, it is history, facts, that need to be shared.

His channel was a random RU-vid recommendation a few days ago and I’ve been binge watching his videos. After I finish them I’ll more than likely rewatch them again 😅 He’s the perfect person for this town and this town is perfect for him. The love and care he puts into this place is incredible. For him to be on Vice is well deserved. Hope for much more future success and recognition for him.

Thats pretty cool, there is so much history here... The indigenous (Paiute-Shoshone) once had wars over the pine trees the minors used to fuel there mine activities...

Man, how cool would it be to have your very own town... and be waaayyyyy out in the middle of no where, like all the family members that only show up when they want something from you, well you could see them coming for a few miles away and then just decide to drop down into a mine and play hide and seek lol... the peace and quiet I bet is soooooo unreal at his place... its awesome
