Certain Women - Official Movie Review 

I laughed so hard seeing numbers at the end. :D

This film was ok. It felt like 3 short films intertwined loosely for the sake of a cohesive feature film. Which I guess isn't so bad as I can't recall another film like this one. The biggest problem is that the pacing is so slow and the shots linger so much that it drags in the stories where we are not completely invested in what is happening immediately (Acts 1 & 2). The other problem is that the 3rd story completely eclipses the other two. Lily Gladstone is by far the best part about this movie, and Kelly Reichardt's slow style of filmmaking completely clicks with the silent daily habits of the rancher, with Gladstone's phenomenal face conveying so much emotion for the audience to connect. If this part of the film was a stand alone short I would give it 10/10. But as a feature film the other parts drag it down too much, so I gotta give it a 6.8/10 but it could go higher on repeated viewings

Relaxing movie. I've never had a movie relax me before but this one did.

There were no redeeming qualities from this movie. Nobody at my screening liked it except the usher who when asked, "what did you like about it?" replied with, "it was beautiful." Montana is lovely, but if that is what the only person who liked it can come away with you have big problems. There's no depth to anyone in the movie or the people who tell you to see this movie. ORIGINAL DOES NOT MEAN AWESOME!! 0.8 of 10

FUCK, YEAH! Kristen Stewart is a great actress.

This sits on my top 10 of the year so far, and I'd be surprised if it doesn't end up in my top 20 when I'm "done" catching up with the 2016 releases. Really good film!

Kelly is an only american director working today whom I genuinely care for. She is so underappreciated by general public that it sadden me.

I think Kristin Stewart is a good actress within certain limits. She was completely wrong for "Cafe Society" whereas Blake Lively really got the style down. But, part of the problem may have been Jesse Eisenberg who seemed like he should have been right but wasn't.

2:42 - Every time I hear someone say this, I laugh. Its not because I think she's awful - she won me over with Still Alice and Clouds Of Sils Maria - but because I think about the years of the Twilight franchise (08'-12'), where she was the butt end of every joke, and of how much she has improved in the following years.

Hmm. It has Michelle Williams and Kristen Stewart in it. I'll pass. They might actually all do a good job, the film sounds interesting ... but no. Also, damn you Alonso for not sharing in my completely whimsical dislike for Stewart, damn you to hell.
