What I like about these videos: not a single word necessary to comment what is done. Just pure state of the art craftsmanship with some contemplative music. For me, building (and fixing) bikes is a kind of meditation.
That front end assembly still scares me a bit, but your vid takes most of the headache out of it; nice step by step. Many thanks! Once I finally get me wrenches on one all the question marks should be resolved. Great vid. A ton of info in less than 30 mins. Cheers Mate, Pjw
The front is totally easy to install! Way better than most one piece cockpits 👍 and cervélo has a really good step by step manual cervelo.cdn.prismic.io/cervelo/4b0f94ea-7f5e-441a-87f9-abeaa8f7fede_S5_2023_manual_v3.1_web.pdf Don't worry to much, you'll be fine 😃
Who buys these bikes? I mean, SRAM? I am yet to see someone with SRAM components......is that a big thing in Europe? Because here in the Washington DC area, I've seen maybe only two people with that.
Yeah… that scale is not calibrated. as someone who owns the new S5 running the same set up with a 80gram lighter seatpost, 20gram heavier saddle and a 350gram lighter wheelset and that weights 7.148kg. This “weight” is so misleading
Yes it is. There are different seat posts from cervelo with different offset and yours might be cut down. Same goes for the frame, is it the same size? same color? And the new SRAM RED is a lot lighter than the old version. This weight is what it is. The exact weight of this version of the S5. And 7.148 is an incredible weight for a full on aero bike 👍🤩
