Cesare Tallone was one of several painters from the Italian group of artists who was revered for his mastery of the portrait and his daring approach to painting. Along with Mancini and Michetti, he would produce many fine works of art that were inspired from across Europe and in America. His belief in large sight-sized portraits would be a trademark of his style. Although little is known today of his many works, that view is quickly changing, as art lovers embrace the tried and true artistic skills once so well respected. Tallone is here to stay.
