The fabregas and costa duo was scary. Cesc has to be in the top3 prem midfielders he was in the spains midfield xi which explains it all that spain midfield was stacked with competition that says it all top3 💯

@@martincolton32 Urmm dunno whatthe hostility is about but its far from argument over, Santi i would argue was on the level of a cesc, as I said he didnt have the passing range, but Dribbling, beating the press, both footed and goals he held over Cesc. There are many passers of the ball that can dictate a game like Cesc, Xavi, Pirlo, Xabi Alonso, Scholes, to name a few, but players like Santi are rare, David Silva, iniesta are the two that come close.
I remember Henry on sky sports explaining how Wenger basically changed the whole arsenal system because of a 16 year old Cesc. He was such a baller, a true CM and is criminally underrated. Defo in my top 5

Excellent video Rants. An outstanding player. The fact that he was only 15 or 16 when he made his debut for Arsenal. Wow. As an Arsenal fan, despite him going to Barcelona and Chelsea and played for both of them, even I really struggled to hate him, because I loved the player so much. I have always respected him as a player. He gave absolutely everything for Arsenal and he really really wanted to win so many more trophies too. He has had a very successful career, especially for Spain as well.
Imagine Cesc in this current Chelsea team, with Timo making the runs. No one in this current squad can pick timo out. CESC is in my TOP 3 as well in terms of Passing. What a fantastic player!

i remember the goal he scored vs spurs for arsenal where he picked the ball up from the half way line, nutmegged few and cooly tucked it past the keeper. i loved watching this guy play in the prem... best spaniard to ever play in the prem.... plus his the second most highest assist maker in prem history behind ryan giggs. i was gutted that we didnt sign him in 2013. he would of been the perfect scholes replacement
I would say he was arguable the best midfield maestro in the EPL of this generation. Another thing about him was that he could play right across the midfield and even false 9 and he still would influence the game. A beautiful footballer to watch. That Nasri/Van Persie/Cesc combination was telepathic coming from a United fan.
cesc's head was on a swivel at all times, dude was always taking in snapshots of the pitch. that's why you won't find many clips of him being caught in possession.

This video is a subtle diss to Arsenal by Rants. Surprised that nobody in the comments has picked up on that. Apart from the through ball to Nasri v Barca there are no Fabregas Arsenal clips and several replays against Arsenal when he played for Chelsea.
Arguably THE single most important Arsenal player post Highbury and he was only a kid. Take Cesc out of the Arsenal team around 2006 and Arsenal fans wouldn't have been even having the conversation about finishing 4th and that being a failure. Team could not function if he wasn't in that midfield. Cesc was a proper little player carrying the massive responsibility of the team on his shoulders well beyond his years.
Fabregas is one of my All favorite players at Arsenal. and i've been a fan for over 25 years. Alot of arsenals fans are still salty that he left, but i wasnt never mad because he went to barca which was his childhood club. i also knew that he wanted to return Arsenal, but wenger didnt want him. all The man that took The legend Patrick Viera's game will always be a Legend to me.

The first guy to go from Arsenal to Barca and have success in the first team. Henry was decent there tbf. But the point stands. Fabregas is proven in any league cause he has the touch and awareness to play in Spain, the tactical awareness to succeed in Germany and Italy, and the toughness to play in England.

Cesc has been doing this since a kid you missed some gems from him at Arsenal . He played with passion there at Chelsea it was more of a job yet he still smashed it.
Before De Bruyne and Ozil, this man was the best assister and complete midfielder. When Bergkamp left Aresene found his next playmaker in Cesc Fabregas.

When Wenger denied his return, it was the worst day in my football life. That was the day I turned Wenger out, and the Chelsea title prooved me right. Yeah we had f***in Ozil, and whenever he produced such a pass every now and then, everybody was twerkin. Cesc produced far more often, and spotted much qicker than Mesut. With Hindsight, Cesc’s arrival marked the beginning of the end for Arsene’s Golden Era. Wenger wanted to move to a prettier, sexier style of football. Chelsea and United preceded to bully us for the next ten years plus, then City arrived on the scene. Great Player though. I wish he and Patrick Vieira had gotten to play together for a few years.
One of the best passes of a football that I've ever seen. He could play the game with his eyes shut. Him, RVP and D. Costa had a chemistry of biblical proportions. He could set up anyone and he was responsible for Iniestas goal in the 2010 WC Final 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Man played with Xavi and Iniesta at Barcelona who were in the prime of their careers for a good three seasons.
This is what makes me mad when people say Pogba cant play double pivot. Cesc was in a double pivot with Matic for Chelsea, I believe Pogba has the ability to make the same kind of passes, plus do the box to box role. That's also why I will always respect JM, that Chelsea side had 1 CDM in Matic, Fab #8, Oscar #10 Hazard LW Willian RW Costa #9, that team is far from defensive.
