Sunday afternoon flight to Scherr Airport outside Boonville NC. A couple of J3s, another Cessna 140, a Champ, an RV3 and other assorted classics. This is the clearest day we've had in a month.
When I owned a 140, I kept my right hand on throttle at all times. Instructor told me it something to hold onto for bumpy rides. Came in handy one time when the seat rail latch gave way and my seat slid back a foot or so. Had something to keep me from pulling back on yolk at climb out and stalling.
