My A&P school, Orange Coast College had a real nice Lear Jet that was owned by Northrop Grummam. Was based at Jack Northrop Field (Hawthorne Airport). We had it because the Painter to redo the paint did not do a good job removing the stripper. I ate into the structure and then was written off. Make sure you get that stuff out of all hidden spots.
Dam I’m sorry to hear that but if you’re looking for some quality paint you can always call me at this number 903-721-0348 or have any questions or concerns we definitely try to remove all the stripper because we don’t it does make it harder to work on.
Yeah that 182 was loud, but in 50 years I've never heard the prop that loud on a 182, a NA AT-6, yes, but never a 182. It's also the prop making the noise, not the engine! That was not a stock engine/prop combo on that 182 for sure, maybe some type of experimental, but stock, no way.
Always check out your aircraft painting places and go talk to them and asked them how many aircraft have they painted over areas that needs repair and you need a great sheet metal technician
You’re right about the stripper but every time we work with the stripper we use safety precautions when working with this type of stripper but we also work with water-based stripper that’s more environmental friendly if you look at one of my other video of a Cessna 150 being stripped down we used to water-based stripper
this was a ghard watch... music plays volume gets turned down guy starts talking, volume gets turned up to hear what hes saying, musics starts playing and it deafens me and i fall off my chair ......
