Many thanks to Warren for all the hard work he put in to create this awesome video. Sacrificing so much of his time, to fly out with me to Serpentine airfield, the actual filming, and many, many hours of video editing to create this. Warren the quality of your free-hand videography is second to none! I so much appreciate all the effort you put in!
Thanks Sarel. It does of course take time and effort but I do enjoy creating the videos as well. Plus I got to have my own Aeros time in the passenger seat on the way back - next video.
Yes Warren is a master at creating good quality videos. No need to have sympathy for the Cessna :). It is more than capable of doing all those manoeuvres and so much more. They definitely show their age in terms of cosmetic wear and tear in the cabin, but mechanically they are sound. As Warren says, all credit to the Royal Aero Club of WA for maintaining their fleet of 152 Aerobats to this high standard.
@@MyJoyInTheAir I learned some aerobatics in a 152 back in the 90s and my WW2 pilot instructor could never manage a barrel roll. We kept falling out of the top and lost 2000 feet in the dive doing about 160kts with the engine backfiring. The plane certainly handled it better than I did, especially when he insisted on trying it again. Not a lot of power but pretty tough if you stick within the allowed maneuvers.
