** Toutes les infos sur la cetera sont dans la description ! **
What is this instrument? It's the cetera, a traditional Corsica instrument which has no less than 16 strings!
The cetera is a kind of cithern - from the Renaissance period - but way bigger, larger. We Corsican people have a big one, that needed to be said.
This cetera was built by the Corsican luthier Ugo Casalonga, luthier in Pigna. Forgotten during the 20th century, this ancien instrument was re-discovered but we lost his tuning. We can use open tunings, but I decided to use son hybrid tuning between modal and standard guitar DADADGBE.
I chose the Helios model, with a watnut neck, an ebony fretboard, a maple table, a 3 pieces pear tree and flamed maple on the back, also pear tree on the sides.
