Thank you for bringing back old memories... was lucky enough to stop in Sri Lanka in the late 70's (Navy) and with a couple of friends took a jaunt South from Columbo and surfed some amazing spots and met incredible people.. village life was beautiful. I think you guys captured some of it... and yes amazing critters up close.

Man this is so fucking awesome! Amazing visuals, soundtrack and vibes! I went backpacking around Sri Lanka in March and it's one of my favourite countries. Great surf and great for riding motorbikes the roads there are like fucking carpet.

I love that you are having fun and got beautiful images, i just don't understand the need to always disclose the name of all the spots. I know we live in a time of clicks and instant gratification but what happened to exploration and the beauty of figuring out yourself?

Plenty of surfing footage on RU-vid. This is half travel, half surf. When you surf, it’s half adventure half surfing.

@@pdbsprinter9587 Yeah but it’s more 95% travel and 5% surf. I doubt we see one full ride in the whole movie. Although that’s common nowadays. It’s a nice little film. More aimed at beginner surfers and people new to surfing I realize, so Im not the target audience anyways. But Id say there’s a couple minutes actual surfing footage all up in this movie. I did enjoy it and it was good watching. There was just a disappointingly small amount of actual surfing in it is all… 🤙🏻

Videos like this make the line up crowded and the multinational corporations full of money. 35-40 years ago we were not a business opportunity but lazy guys around bad habits and so on. That stereotype was really far away from reality, all my friend turned, included me, professionals and surf was and will be our passion, unfortunately now is a business and a trend
