You need something like a shirt or jacket over that cable while you're pulling and sitting on your 4 Wheeler and it won't cut your head off if it breaks
So many great demonstrations of what NOT to do. Riding too fast, panicking, standing under the machine during winching, dropping the machine back onto him when the line slipped, cable across the trail to clothesline passersby, no damper in case the line breaks, no proper rigging with soft shackles, and it looked like he tried to start it before letting the oil settle. I'm glad nobody was hurt but it wasn't because you were prepared or trained.
Yeah, we can all say things like this but the fact is shit happens once he was out that's when they should've taken a little time to relax and assess the situation and calm down
@@NorthernYellowRhino take it from somebody that's piled up his ATV as of this June it'll be two years in my neck and shoulder are still screwed so I get it going I was saying was once he was out. That's when you need to take a breath because as you say, everything else could be fixed once you know, the person is OK in my case I was lucky because I was riding alone. The people came along and got me back to where the ambulance could come and get me so I get it. Yeah, it happened very fast with no real reason why it happened to this day doesn't make a lot of sense
Wow , iv had a couple interesting events with this quad. And seen a few good event. Look for the video xtp gets swamped that shows how fast things can go south. Quad sinks in under 10 seconds and he new it was deep
