Someone who is into Finance training would never understand, leave aside appreciate, the value of an MBA from ISB or IIMs. Value of a well rounded education (which IIMs or ISB provides) is far better than the narrow Finance curriculum of CFA. It makes you a far better person. That's the difference between a Degree and a Certification
A narrow finance curriculum? I'm quite sure you have never even studied for even level-I. The CFA with reference to teaching the depth of finance is unparalleled. You will never learn different finance concepts in such depth in any mba college. A degree from isb or iim is really impressive and surely teaches you a lot. Cfa is completely different and is a professional course which is highly regarded around the world.
Lol Narrow curriculum? Surely not as wide as MBA which teaches not just finance but a Level 3 passed candidate can rip apart an mBa from iim abc....z or isb when it comes to finance. Just how deep it is in CFA.
You could have joined the same role straight after completing your graduation...not sure why you chose such a long route, but doing all those qualifications is not easy, great
40 lakhs matter, even if doing MBA from Isb she is getting a job off campus and that too the same profile which she was into before MBA, i think she has lots of money
I believe Venture Capital is a part of Private Equity. Everything that includes valuation of private - unlisted companies is private equity. Also as she mentioned, her work also includes valuing the company for ESOPs, etc so the work is much more and diverse than VC.
