As a Nebraska fan, all the playoff talk needs to be thrown out the window, we still don’t know if we’re gonna make a bowl game! The optimism is nice, but Nebraska has a very tough slate especially since they play Ohio State and USC

I am a Nebraska fan and I was frustrated with all of the Colorado talk. I'm not sure what people were seeing about Colorado but I knew we were a better team. But with that said I think Illinois is even going to be a more accurate look at where Nebraska is a a program. Then yes our schedule is pretty sluff, but all of our real tough games are on the road at USC, Ohio State, and Iowa. But from what I am seeing, there are major improvements so far. I'm sure we will be bowling eligible.

About Dylan:: Son of Dominic Raiola, longtime center in Detroit, and godson of Matthew Stafford, who was Dom's QB. Dylan's been around the game at a high level since he was a kid. And man, he's special. You can tell he just has "it". The killer instinct. 2/2 on 2 minute drills before half, by the way. Can't wait to see how he develops over the years, and what kind of team the Huskers can build around him. GBR.

If i remember correctly "the athletic" ran 1,000 simulations of the '24 season when EA released the game. Nebraska made the playoff about 15% of the time

As Husker fans, you won't hear a peep out of most of us yet. We believe in Rhule, but there isn't a sane Nebraska fan saying we're back. CU isn't a great team, and Illinois and Rutgers could be trap games. We've been humbled the last 2 decades, and NU has consistently lost to teams that they should have beaten in the last ten years. But I think NU can finally say the program is headed the right way again.

Nebraska alum here. Can’t agree with Rich that Nebraska will be in the run for the playoffs. Huskers special teams are very poor. This was demonstrated in the Colorado game! that will cost us down the road. Although, I hope I’m wrong!

Love my Huskers but the special teams aside from punter are a mess. Unless we can avoid close games and can get a good enough lead we can’t rely on our field goal kicking to win us any games at this point. But still behind them 100%! Hopefully they can figure it out at kicker.

The other thing about Rhule is recruiting. Take a look at the pipeline he's building. In state and flipping kids from other elite programs. Also Rich. NU still aint giving up the 97 trophy. You might not like it but the hardware stays in Lincoln. In 1998 NU fans were thrilled, UM fans whined. It's still going on today.

As a Nebraska fan, I believe we played the best QB and Receiver we will play all season. They just didn’t have an O-line. If we play with zero turnovers we can compete against anyone.

If you are a Nebraskan fan the one thing that we do is take the season one game at a time. Let's just try to get to a bowl game. Please stop talking about playoffs hopes for Nebraska like Colorado did in 2023 after beating tcu and Nebraska in their first 2 games.

@@cornbreadred8556 You don't have any credible 'statistics' to prove otherwise. Not after week 2. Don't even go there. 2 wins against bad teams proves nothing. We still have to get past OSU, USC Iowa and Wisconsin. 8-4 ain't getting us to the B1G title game or CFP. Prove it on the field against quality competition before you start guzzling the kool aid.
