I’d love some input on these considering the last few years… Quarterback U: Bama, Ore, USC, OSU? Running back U: UGA, Bama, Wisc? Wide Receiver U: OSU, LSU, USC? Linebacker U: UGA, Bama, PSU? Asterisk U: Michigan Defensive Back U: LSU, Bama, OSU?
OSUs o line is a lot smaller concern when you have a qb who's feet aren't glued to the turf and when you have 2 of the best backs in the country back there. That OLine will look pretty solid. Ain't sweating them at all.
The man turned down the Bama job, I doubt there is a school in the nation that could pull him away from Oregon. Top recruiting, huge NIKE backing, already in one of the top conferences. Path to playoff is basically paved for him every year
@@claypennington602 NFL is always stealing coaches... but yes it is very true and he has said in a couple interviews that he's willing to stay as long as Oregon will have him. So that to me sounds like he's staying for a long ass time
@@EpicMan143 As an OU fan I gotta say I think he is about to usher in an era of dominance in the Big10. I watched a few of those big games last year and y’all played lights out and the fans are clearly bought in on home games. I hope DG does well for y’all this year he is a fantastic QB
@claypennington602 I hope so too but I feel like we're going to go into a more run heavy offense because we have a bigger offensive is really good and that's the main style of football in the Big Ten defenses are too good to be throwing the ball as much as we did last year. Dillon Gabriel is a lot better at extending plays with his feet and running down filled so I feel like he'll get a whole bunch of rushing yards this season because our offensive line is really good
@@EpicMan143 IMO y’all will be able to throw it on anyone, the only reason B1G defenses were so highly ranked last year is because their offenses we lacking. OSU was missing the “stud QB” they have had the last 6-7 years consistently. JJ McCarthy only threw for like 2500 yards at Michigan because they leaned full in on the run game, and Aller at Penn st only threw for 2600 yards. Maryland was down, Michigan state was down, and Wisconsin was down. It’s why teams like Penn St and Iowa both were top ranked defenses in the regular season and then give up 38 and 35 respectively in their bowl games. Michigan and OSU will have good defenses, but that’s just two teams. OSU held Missouri to 14, which is good, but only put up 3 points and lost. Michigan is hard to judge because both Alabama and Washington imploded in their playoff games against them.
