Guys, I don’t know if you heard but Nathan Rourke, last years BC starting quarterback, had a very successful debut last night for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL. He passed for 153 yards with no interceptions in the Jags first preseason game. Rourke was one of the CFL platers that caught my eye last year. Go CFL! The Lions are really good again this year at the QB position.
tell me why Dickenson doesn't bring in Tommy Stevens to run the offense occasionally, more mobile QB to try and throw the other team off a bit. And who was the kid that went in to mop up? An INT on your first throw isn't a good sign.
Because Tommy Stevens has a significantly worse throwing arm than the other two guys. Sure he’s thrilling to watch, but the guy’s arm is about as strong as your High School’s Quarterback
If anything, the right guy for the team is sitting on our Practice Squad rn. I think Bonner has easily the most arm talent of anyone on the roster and that’s the biggest Key to success as a CFL QB
*They played well, but it's clear the wimps in Hongcouver are not as good as the Blue Bombers.* _Still a lot of football to play, but I am predicting Winnipeg to win another Cup as they continue to be the team to beat._
