Ahead of the 110th Grey Cup, Marissa Roberto sat down with members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Montreal Alouettes to get their take on some of Canada's provinces.
I think It would be a good idea to have a team in Quebec City. The CFL is popular there, and I am sure they will be able to put a strong team on the field. This would make 10 teams, 5 in each Conference.
The problem is the same problem and reason why their is no team in Halifax, who is going to build and maintain the stadium, with only 9 or so home games a season and costing 100's of millions to build the stadium will also run at a loss, the city has to build and maintain it. At least in say Toronto the TFC share the stadium with the Argos.
Good point. The Rouge et Or of Université Laval team has their own stadium, the Stade Telus, I believe. Could they not use that? The Montreal Alouettes use the McGill University stadium, unless Montreal is hosting the Grey Cup, in which cas they use the Olympic Stadium. @@SpruceMoose-iv8un
That was a fun bit. Does Winnipeg still have that great zoo? I must have visited that a hundred times with my kids along with the Museum and Planetarium. Since my days living there, they've added another(?) fantastic museum and The Forks center at the intersection of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers. Montreal truly is the most international city within Canada - and yes all the languages, cultures and foods! Thanks for all this.
I lived from Vancouver BC to Kingston Ontario from 1993 to Present. I have been in most CFL Stadiums with the exception of Montreal and Ottawa. 7/9 is not bad. My Bombers won 5/6 since I have been following the CFL since 1983. I cheered on the Bombers along with other teams wherever the Bombers switch East to West and visa versa.

Come to IG field some time, any time. If you can get tickets, because the Bombers are a sellout pretty much all the time. The best team, but yea, the worst roads in the CFL. Bomber fans are for real. BTW, WTF Sask. , couple of bad seasons, and the stands start to empty ? I guess Rider green is a little faded.
Im assuming you're a Bomber band wagon. Just wait, when you guys get a losing season, your team everytime boo your own team. Unlike the bumbers we don't need a winning season to still get a good, and loudest crowd
Sushi is not Canadian. In Japan it is only eaten at special occasions, not for everyday eating. 2:59 - Unfortunately, this man is mostly right. Edmonton is technically still part of the prairies. They call it Deadmonton in English, and Edmonotone in French. 4:45 - I knew that. I love lentils! Most Canadians do not even know what lentils are. 6:16 - No pine trees on the West Coast? This man is joking, of course! The young woman from Saskatoon is utterly charming. 6:45 - Toronto is just a huge city with no identity. 52% of the people who live there were not even born in Canada. 9:40 - This man is totally wrong! Quebecers speak a variation of the French language, but their culture is totally different from that of France. 10:25 - One simple reason : Mafia!
