@@dazoedave i ride mine in almost exclusively in 3rd gear at lower speeds. may not be great for the bike, but it's great for my neck.

Ive had the same issue. I just adjust the throttle to have almost no play and the clutch cable too. It rides a lot smoother that way.

This is the comment I was looking for,, the throttle st low speed is very jerky and it's brand new from factory..and yes it's very lightweight 333lbs wet so when I take it to the freeway it is not ideal if it's windy at all ..uts pretty much a great street bike not highway

It’s been a while since I first started advocating for the brand. I still believe in the product. I understand how frustrating it can be to have issues like the ones you are running into. At this point, I can say that CFMOTO has almost become a brand known for performance/fit/finish/price but they are being held back by their parts availability, because it’s similar to higher-end motorcycles like BMW, KTM, Ducati, and Aprilia (in regard to lead times/back order) My recommendation is to check your connections. Pull the seat off, and make sure all of your harnesses are connected and water tight. Next step would be to call a dealer with more experience with the brand. Personally, I think you should call Main Street Cycle in Mississippi and see if they’ll help you over the phone. They seem to know quite a bit about the CF on-road lineup from the brief experience they’ve had - it is a great crew. Their channel is @RealTalkPowersports. If they are not close to you, call a larger dealer near a city who has more volume/riders - odds are they have come across the same issue and might be able to troubleshoot over the phone. Finally, if you haven’t yet, join the Facebook group for 300 NK/SS. @@Omni_Moto Thank you so much for your response! Regardless of the issues I’ve had, I absolutely love the bike. I think they did a great job designing the bike and it’s very high quality. My issues are that the dealer was not as up front with me about the potential for it being a little harder to get parts and that there were no 3rd party parts for this bike, on top of it they sold me oil that was not synthetic, I asked for and paid for Synthetic it was even higher priced, but I drove way to far on a non-sythetic oil change, and the bike seized. At least that’s what the dealer said, they told me there was no oil in the engine at all and questioned if the correct amount of oil was put in at the last oil change. Come to find out the engine was filled with oil, I took the bike to a random bike shop and they took the engine out (I got lucky and found an engine on eBay off another 300nk with only 1600 miles, only one in the country in fact) when they took the original out it poured out oil all over the rest of the bike so there was definitely lots of oil in the bike. They told me the bike was well lubricated and that the engine has potential to come back as only some small pipes were bent somehow. The shop told me they must have put the bike together wrong and that attributed to the bike failing and that the oil wasn’t the issue. Not sure what to think, West Coast Powersports definitely seems shady to me now though. I will be following all of your advice, thank you so much for everything. I agree that CFMOTO has great potential and their bikes are great, this is an issue of the people I felt with get the bike on the first place!

Hey, thanks for watching! CFMOTO is far from an "off brand". I recommend doing a bit of searching online to learn more about who they are and where they've come from. It's interesting to see just how quickly they've blown up in the last 10 years alone.

Off brand but it produces Ktm’s and I’m pretty sure the last gen Duke 250 and 390 can’t deny the CF Moto seal all over.

had mine for a little over a month...there's no difference in performance lol. It's purely an aesthetic option in your dash.

There are available aftermarket seats that can lower the seat a little bit, but getting it a full 1-4 inches lower is tough and can negatively impact the handling of the machine. If you're worried about getting both of your feet on the ground, I would instead focus on just having one foot on the ground to keep yourself stable. Having both feet on the ground creates bad habits for new riders and in truth, you only need 1 foot down to keep you upright when stopped. Best thing to do would be to get into a showroom and sit on one to see how well you can keep it stood up. Sometimes we have to take a realistic approach though and understand there are bikes out there that are not feasible for every rider. Hope this helps. Ride safe! 😎

Any issues thus far? I'm looking to buy one as my first bike and I'm worried about how fast things ware out and brake. Any problems on the hwy after a few hours?

@TB33man no problems at all mate, I push the bike really hard too. I usually ride for about 20-30min at full throttle going to and coming home from work. I am at the point of pushing the bike all the way to its limit and nothing has gone wrong at all, I love my little CF naked.

I believe the rear sprocket is 45 teeth. As for a replacement for more torque, it may be easier to just replace the front sprocket instead, and you'll likely be able to find a better universal fit. Here's a search query link (m.aliexpress.com/wholesale/cfmoto-sprocket.html) that should give you some options to look through for different sprocket sizes. Fitment is a little hard to nail down, but you can always scour RU-vid for people who have swapped their sprockets to see what they bought, and you can also join the Facebook group for 300SS/300NK/450SS to ask your question there. Hmmm. The only way I could foresee the exhaust interfering with anything in the onboard self-diagnosing check-engine-light system would be an oxygen sensor getting wet from the rain. I'd call and ask to schedule a service to diagnose. Depending on when it was originally registered in 2021, it may still be under the factory warranty. The dealership might charge a flat rate for diagnostics, but if the components causing the CEL are covered by the OEM warranty, you might be able to get them replaced. Good luck!

My bike is most likely not under warranty as it was first registered 02.08.2021 (d/m/y), and i have not recived any papers from previous owner regarding warranty. My bike was due to its second service 4 days ago, and i went to cf moto service in my country. And they said that cel should'nt be a problem. I have another cf moto service but it is aprox 100 miles from me..i wil have to make a few calls i guess

My personal choice is the NK because I prefer a more upright seating position, a lower price would just be an additional bonus. @@alekharry2223 I am 185cm. I find it fits me very well, so you would fit decent on it, possibly a little tight depending on your inseam and weight. Any motorcycle after 1 hour of riding warrants a stop + stretch.

Nope! The dealer network has grown significantly and obtaining parts is as easy as calling or visiting your dealer to get the items you need.

Hi Usman! In the USA the motorcycle MSRP is $4,199 and the fees vary from dealer to dealer. The store I work at sells the 300NK for right around $5,700 before taxes. Each dealership is different though, and the market has a pretty wide spread as you look at different areas of the country.

Hey there! With a 27" inseam you might be hard pressed to get both of your feet on the ground - BUT! As long as you can get at least one of your feet on the ground while the other one is balanced on the foot peg, you can ride just about anything. The closest thing they have is the CL-X 700 Adventure, but that bike is only available in markets outside of the US. That said, you could probably buy the US version of a CL-X 700 and set it up with some modifications. So I guess the short answer is, they don’t really have a bike set up to be a scrambler (unless your in Asian/African/Euro markets). Hope that answers your question.

No, Bob. Eco and sport mode have no observable difference in fueling. The manual just says “for different riding experience” but doesn’t explicitly state what each mode does. All it changes is the display. I have actually tested this in real world application, and I’m assuming you haven’t. you need to stop first before switching modes, from ECO mode, stop and put it to neutral and then switch or press to SPORT mode. there you will see the difference, thank me later. @@Omni_Moto

no doubt Honda a better bike; however, I can get a new 300nk $3400 OTD with taxes and tags included. Big incentives on them now. Honda ~$7k with dealer fees and such.

No clue. Try selecting the phone from the bike and vice versa. If that doesn’t work, try turning your phone on/off. If that doesn’t work, try to disconnect the battery on the bike, wait 1 minute, reconnect it, then try to pair. If that doesn’t work, call the dealer and see if they could identify if there is a bad Bluetooth module. You might also check to see if you can locate the Bluetooth module to make sure it’s plugged in. If none of that works, I have no idea what to do from that point.
