I think the biggest takeaway is that CFMoto is showing just how complacent and overpriced some of the bigger name brands have gotten. Some of them in my opinion are banking too much on the preconceived notion that their reliability is why you buy them. Folks can deny and throw shade at CF because they aren't as established, but the truth is competition is good for everyone.
Price has been an issue for a few years there's not one atv worth over 10k but people keep buying can ams and polaris 1000s for almost 25k. Like I tell people all the time, if team China can make complete ATVs like cfmoto, linhai, odes, Massimo for all sub 7k with import fees and everything included there's zero reason that Polaris kawi can am ect can all charge near double for a machine assembled in the US with zero customs and shipping fees ect.
Justify your purchase anyway you want. The sad factor is China's unscrupulous business practices. I doubt you'll ever see a CFMOTO manufacturing plant in the USA. Their prices will be on par with everyone else's. Personally, IMHO it's a conscious choice! Do you want to support a non-NATO Communist China. Or NATO Allies and American workers along with free market systems. Get out of the shade buddy!!!!
A decade ago Polaris was what CF Moto is now. Great features at price points the competition couldn't match. Polaris got complacent and more interested in 30 k sxs. From a Polaris loyalist.
@@RealTalkPowersports As do I, it's a sad time to be an ATV loyalist in a lot of ways. Sport quads all but extinct, my beloved BruteForce 750 was discontinued. Hopefully CF Moto keeps their price point reasonable on their ATVs.
The CF MOTO looks like a nice quad I just don't know about long-term care. Me personally I have a 2021 Grizzly and a 2021 Kodiak 700 and have had many Yamaha quads with no issues. But thats a good looking quad with lots of accessories from factory. Nice review. 😊
Cf moto is an excellent atv I work as a atv/utv mechanic in northern Michigan for every 1 honda or yamaha or cf moto I work on 10 polaris. They used to make a good product but have went down quality over the last 10 years
Why are people brand loyal, i never u understood it. Marketing told you to be. Sad world. I also own a Polaris why? Not cuz it's garbage, but they didn't have the uforce when I bought my ranger, I'm pretty sure if have bought it and research things heavily before I buy, not based off brand.
Honestly if the polaris was cheaper than the cfmoto i would still buy the cfmoto. The cfmoto overall has a better design and fit and finish compared to polaris atvs
While its def arguable that polaris is overpriced Cf Moto is Chinese junk. It will not last. Less power and id bet my house if one took the moto thru some of the same tough terrain i take my Can am through it wont last. Period. Do yourselves a favor and at least buy Taiwan machines.
@@RealTalkPowersports He is absolutely wrong and you know it. The AWD of Polaris has no competition and it is a lot better from 4x4 or lock the rest atvs have . I appreciate your work though.
I love my 625 OK the quality might just not be there on the feel of some of the switches but for the cost it can't be beaten I changed from Honda and I'm a die hard Honda fan but for the extra money the new Hondas cost for less equipment and less performance I just couldn't get one I looked at everything else but kept coming back to the CF moto
I stayed with Polaris because where we ride everybody either has a Polaris or a Can-Am and I've had Polaris machines for the last 24 years. It also depends on your dealers, last weekend I picked up a 24 model 570 trail ride command for $9,800 out the door. That's well below their MSRP, and my general has ride command so I was able to import my maps which was really handy. Especially if one of my daughters takes the quad out or if I have a buddy riding it they can see exactly where they are. I did sit on some CF Moto stuff locally and I thought about buying one of their small ones for my youngest daughter. But as far as the larger machines go, if I break down somewhere on the trails chances are someone has a Polaris part I can snag without having to drive hours back to Civilization. Good video!!
Just purchased a CF moto 700 max , did a ton of research on Cam Am and Polaris but the road and price kept bringing me back to the CF Moto, also the looks and standard features, not looking to do any rough riding just trails and fun with my wife that's why I got a seater, all of them have parts made in chine so that argument is not valid anymore.
Were i ride Va. Washington national forest i have noticed good last 3 yrs im seeing more & more CFMOTOS also CFMOTO side by sides. Riders say they really like them
I have a 2020 Uforce 800 and the only real complaint I have is it gets really warm inside the cab in the summer as the motor is almost sitting beside you because of having the dump box. But it's a really great machine, not too loud I can still talk to my passenger. It is a little rough riding on trails, although to be fair it wasn't really made for trails it's a utility vehicle. But it brings deer and bear out real easy. And in Canada they come standard with signal lights, 4 way flashing and a horn. I love the signal lights especially with some official trails here use back roads and highways to connect trails.
I need to say that the CF moto has full LED, cell phone call notification via Bluetooth on the dashboard, trailer connection, 12 V and USB socket, 2 waterproof cabinets to store things... I have the CF Moto 600 Greetings from Uruguay..
Yeah, my Uncle has a CForce 600. A couple years old and he's had to put over 2K into the transmission, his came with EPS, but that stopped working(so he just doesn't use it). I took out the Cforce 850 and that thing was an absolute beast. Great, comfortable ride...but I just decided to go with the Sportsman. Ride Command(I have land up North and there are ~500 acres that zig-zag along the river and it's hard to keep track of where I am). Driving my Uncles, it had plastic underneath, the skid plate broke off almost immediately. It's still going strong, don't get me wrong. He pulls a lot of heavy shit out of the woods, up to his cabin, cuts it up. But I spent 2K more on a Polaris through a dealership. Got a 5 years warranty that covers everything(but obviously tires, break, shit like that. I got the winch on, the 5-year warranty, and a '24 for 10,200 and the Cforce 600 was going to be ~8300 walking out the door. So I'm happy. That 5-year Polaris Warranty...maybe I don't use it, but I feel like it was worth it. The WHOLE reason I got it was because nobody has lived on the land or used it since my Cousin went to College and moved away ~20 years ago. So we had...~20 miles of trails ALL over the place and those are pretty much gone now. So I'm trying to get it opened back up. So I wanted something I could beat up, put through the mud. Skid plate, the winch, and the warranty made it worth it.
The CF600 is better well I'm biased I love my tuned CF625 the acceleration is unbelievable 800kg tow capacity off road diff lock you really can't beat CF moto what you get for you money is fantastic I looked at everything on the market I really couldn't justify spending more money on another brand and getting less for it and to others not even operating as good
I bought a brand new polaris 500ho in 2013 and i beat the ever living piss out of the thing starting day one in the oilfield going through snow, over snow drifts and bogging it in mud and water for 3 years and its still running great with 5000 miles on it. Its never had an easier life since i was done in the oilfield, it just plows snow and checks crops now bit still gets bogged every year. Way better machine than my buddies kawasaki or my other buddies yamaha
I actually put money down on the Polaris but with the belt exhaust located by the rear driver’s tire I swapped to CFMOTO. Terrible location for belt exhaust. 680 flawless miles on CFMOTO 600
How do they compare utility wise? The sportsman 570 can carry 90 lbs on the front rack, 180 lbs on rear rack and tow 1350 lbs. The cf moto 600 is rated for only 44 lbs, 88 lbs and 620 lbs towing capacity which is a big difference for folks who may want to use their machine for work or hunting. But for all around trail riding for a weekend getaway the CF Moto definitely adds a lot of bang for your buck. Not sure why the capacity ratings are so low but are worth looking into.
If you want a good polaris get a predator old predator 500 or outlaw they also had metal thumb throttles no issue with aarms falling apart or cv axles or fans destroying the radiators no clutching issues or belts blowing up no electrical issue and more they were the only good polaris machine, polaris might be able to make alot of power but they need a new quality department
How are the welds and durability of the frame. I have no doubt the engine and all of that’s good but are they cutting corners on the structure? Just wondering why they’re so much less then the competion
Really the only place the cfmoto machines are lacking is in power, but in the real world I don't think it matters. I've always owned Honda machines, so I'm used to very low power numbers lol
Zhejiang Chunfeng Power Co., Ltd.,[a] commonly known by its trade name CFMOTO,[b] is a Chinese manufacturer of engines, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, quadricycles, quads, and yachts headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.
I think it's important to compare equal price points. What Polaris can you build for the price of a CF Moto with EPS, a Winch, hand guards and upgraded tires? I think a CF Moto 600 2023 needs to be compared to a Polaris 450 MAYBE. Now how close in power are the detuned CF Motos to a Polaris 450 (499cc) ?
Is the cforce 600 or 800 reliable for snow plowing 99% of the time, or do these machines have major issues. Need info before I purchase this brand! Thanx.
Ive got a 570 EPS and wouldnt trade it for a C Moto if you gave me 3 grand more cash. The suspension in my book is amazing. Power steering which is adjustable I prefer medium works flawlessly. Dont care for fancy wheels prefer my steelies. Hand gaurds cool I can get some. Winch yup can put that on as well. Made in America CF Moto mmmmm Nope. Sportsman made in America um yup. Factory used to be near me now its Indian stuff no not that Indian stuff motor cycles ya hippie
Main Street Cycle never has issues getting OEM or Upgraded aftermarket replacement parts if needed and has most on Hand ready to ship out if not a local customer.
I've been trying to decide between the Cforce 600 and 500 mainly because I'm not sure if the 600 is actually quicker or not like is it worth the extra money on the performance side of things or is it better to just save and go for the 500? Since I've been seeing a couple videos and bits of information that suggests the 500 is really close to 600... if anyone could let me know I'd appreciate it
CFMoto seems so loud, like you are revving its guts out to move whereas the Sportsman sounds more enjoyable to ride. I guess it's a clutch issue but after 20 years of making them you'd think they could buy a competitors atv and dissect it. All the stuff they come with is great but not if you can't stand to ride it. I want to buy one but can't get over that. I'm scared of Polaris even though I love their comfort. I guess King Quad or Brute Force it is.
why don't you talk about the things you have to fix on the cfmoto??? like the clutch. if you are paying someone to go through the cfmoto you will be at the price of the polaris. and why mention things like the paint? the paint is just going to chip off. now, how about resell value? probably not much for the cfmoto. how about the vibrating engines??? this list could go on and on.
Resale value of the CF is awful that’s a 5 year life quad that’ll be worth $800 . I’ve had two Chinese machines both complete garbage and worth nothing after a few years .
This guy has to be associated with cf moto somehow. Super biased.. When you get eps on the 570 sportsman, you automatically get a front bumper. Cf moto looked fresh, the hubs were mud stained on the Polaris like it has already had a rough life. Lastly the dude throws shade at the Polaris pricing, which like everything in 2023 it’s too much. Then asks that after you buy the Polaris, you spend money on HIS up charged adds.
Polaris is not a very high bar to reach. Polaris never could compete with the the four Japanese or CanAm in regards to reliability. Time will tell if CFMOTO will be reliable. My son has a RMAX, his buddy has a UFORCE 1000. The UFORCE has no throttle control, Clutch kits are just a band aid to the real problem, throttle mapping. The RMAX is just an absolute marvel. Predictable, controllable and wildly fast.
I’ve only ran polaris! Why? Because they have never let me down and I ride hard like this guy does! I don’t see the reliability issues I only hear of them!
Why anyone would spend their money on a Chinese ATV is beyond me and that has nothing to do reliability. Also that is a lowest end trim base 570 of course it's going to look utilitarian in comparison. The Sportsman weighs 170 lbs less dry weight so at the same HP there is no comparison.
Cm moto no comparison l have 2022 c/m moto 600 touring 23 hours want cover the belt broke factory and dealer sucks just got it broke in said belt was covered 3months that’s like putting a transmission in your car with a 30 day 30 feet warranty which ever comes first there a joke do not recommend
whats funny is most people dont know cf moto been around for over 20 yrs and now partnered with ktm so thier not junk and are really the best bang for the buck really

F*** that Chinese crap!… support America and buy Polaris ..😊.. just last week i bought a brand new 2024 sportsman 570 hunt edition .. so far Very happy with if. ❤
I pulled the trigger on a 22 600 in Camo last December and couldn’t be more pleased with my decision, which was based Solely on your videos and what you guys put them through. Now I know the drill your a dealer and get new bikes when you need to do a review, repair etc. For the average Joe 😅😅 who’s going to have the bike till they either upgrade or it falls apart I don’t think you can beat them for the price JMO. People I hunt with are Strong Honda guys and that’s fine, but after I left my bike at the camp and they actually used it for a month (me not there) more then one has asked Where did I get it? The power steering Alone is worth a good ride if you can get your azz on one for a day if you just Have To Give the big Three your money go for it but at the end of the day it’s a Man Made Machine and your going to have an issue here or there with Anything man made I think it is the best $6,800 I spent Thanks Team MSC for everything you share with us
My biggest complaint with the CF Moto is the stuff suspension. In all fairness I have had a few Polaris machines. CF feels a lot like a can am. As far as price you can't beat the CF Moto. If you guys start doing all the same things for Polaris and Can Am I believe you'll have the absolute best dealership in the country.
To anyone who is on the fence with this brand: I have a cforce 1000 and it holds up, shows up, and shows out with everyone else on the trails with no issues. Plus, the aesthetic appeal definitely turns some heads. Id recommend this brand 100.
The only one I've ever seen broke the control arm bracket off following me on my can am. If you think it's even comparable bring it out. I'll even put my stock tires and stock tune back on.
@@403outdoors4 in my opinion CF is more for a hobbyist who goes on a little adventures, other US, Russian or Japanese models are double the price but for more extreme fun
Awesome comparison of the 2 machines. I just recently purchased a UForce 1000 and was interested to see that CF Moto offers the same standard features on their other models. I’d be interested to see exactly how much more the Polaris would cost to be comparably equipped. I know the cost difference between my UForce 1000 and Ranger 1000 was several thousand less. Keep up the great work.
Here in Canada all CF motos whether atv or sxs come standard with signal lights, 4 way flashing and a horn. I have a 2020 Uforce 800 with roof, windshield and "full" doors and it was 18k with taxes. My side by side also has diff lock and an override switch for it incase you need to go faster in diff lock which I don't know why you would. I also got a wired winch remote and a Bluetooth wireless remote for my winch.
I just bought a 2023CFMoto CForce 600. Lookiing at some of the specs I see this thing is way heavier than the other brands even the Suzuki 750 is only 700 lbs or so. Are the specs wrong for these machines or does the 800 actually weigh more than 1000 lbs while the 750 Kawasaki Brute weighs 725 lbs???
There is a lot more pep in the CFMOTO than the Polaris. Perhaps it is because of the clutching and/or how the factory has it tuned? I've always liked the Polaris 570, but have always been worried about belts and knowing from friends who have owned them, Polaris does not have enough grease in any of the bearings in addition to their bushing being total garbage. There are several videos and posts dating back many years concerning this problem. Kits exists to remedy that known issue.
👍 yes I would like to do clutch work to both and tune both and run them again just for fun.. just see how much you can maximize both without doing any motorwork
So a wheelie comparison. The video started well, then you F#caked it up. Those quads wouldn’t last five minutes treating them like that. KEEP IT REAL. FFS.
Polaris shows a much smoother ride and who cares if it does a wheelie, they are work atvs. I had a sportsman 400ho for over 10 years and it didnt let me down once. I will take the polaris sportsman over any other atv. Dont care if it costs more, i depend on that machine on the farm
